Always purchase a Geek Squad protection plan. It has paid off mightily for me in the past.

Purchased it to protect 2nd.air conditioner I purchased.

Less then 2 years a airconditioner started throwing out hot air. Best Buy technician said there was nothing wrong with it that is was quote “old”. Called BestBuy again to have it fixed and they literally never showed for the appointment after I called just to make sure a technician was coming. They made sure that the technician was coming but never did. Put me throw hoops to speak to a manager and never got to speak to one. Returned the airconditioner today for a less btu model and ended up pay 100+ more. Best Buy is truly horrible!
