Doesn't do near the square footage it says, our home A/C went out for the 2nd time tis year, so I purchased this hoping to cool the living room, about 400 sq. ft., wouldn't cool it down in 2 days. put it in the Mater Bedroom and its like a freezer in there but only about 200 square ft.

The unit we were protecting went on the fritz two days after this plan expired and Best Buy was neither capable of, nor interested in making good. Expired is expired, regardless of circumstances. "We're very sorry, sir." Doesn't actually cut it, imo. Either a company supports their customers or the don't. In this case, BB, chose to let the "system" dictate customer service. Very poor choice, and major hit to the brand, BB.

Have not used it once But i sure update once I use it as It mentions its very easy to use by calling Geek squad once I call then I can really give my rating

Waste of money. Do not buy. They will not help you with any problems you have.

died after one month and very little use. Now I am trying to contact geek squad to fix or replace unit.

Geek squad dosen't update their address when people move. That were mistakes happen. Because of their carelessness when I give a address change to Best Buy. Geek Squad dosen't update their records.

Use someone else besides the geek squad. They have a bad attitude, managers never call back and they put you in these automated phone cues forever.

Great friendly could use more local support they won't come to my house to look at my air-conditioning unit I purchased last your. I am 5foot2 130 lbs there is no way I can more this down a flight of stairs and load it in a car...

Cold but leaks water if left on for week and feel shouldn't hand to babysit

Well, not too impressed with the Geek Squad Protection. Purchased a Kitchenaid stove and with it the extra service. When I needed service - guess what? Had to contact Kitchenaid directly to schedule the service myself and provide my purchase documents for proof of purchase myself. Needless to say I did not renew.

They do not honor them. I am within warrenty and they had me leave message after message to ge who never calls you back. Its a rip off and now i swelter after paying 600 to buy this product. 1 year later.

Pointless to purchase this for an air conditioner when you have to buy a whole new unit and wait 2 months to be refunded!

Canceled my subscription due to the lack of big items purchased like washer of refrigerator

Waited for agent for three hours to assist install a software that came with Laptop. When I finally connected he was not able to install software and refer me back to best buy.. besides the fact that I had a hard time understanding his English

Money grab and referee to manufacture to service product. Why would I pay for protection if you’re going to send me to the manufacture.

The protection plan is a must for expensive products, but it’s definitely not what it used to be. Especially when they took off the renewal option for their protection plans. Do not get if you don’t have to.

I don’t have any need to use it so I’m rating off necessity and usage.

Waste of time. No help at all. Hirable experience never again and ever do shopping this store ever!

I don't know what to say about it except it should be included with all purchases instead of having to pay for it
