For any product that is worth more than 200$ I always put insurance on it. You never know what may happen and geek squad is the way to go if you need your items to be covered.

I like having the security of knowing if something happens to my purchase, the Geek Squad has my back. (I hope I never actually need to use the coverage...so far, so good.)

Dehumidifier crapped out just after 15 days. Purchased 2-Year Standard Geek Squad Protection thinking it would provide peace of mind and a replacement if something went wrong. I thought wrong and all this provided was a store credit for the cost of the item and I'm out the money spent on 2-Year Standard Geek Squad Protection. Best Buy has really gone down hill and it's sad.

Whenever I have had any problems or concerns, geeks squad agents are extremely helpful in fixing or finding out the problem.

The protection is great in the event that the product stops working. Basically it provides a piece of mind.
