    I bought a new Q-LED TV, Blue-Ray Player, Wireless Router and Surge Protector, I also have my Computer, Cable Modem and all My Networking Devices Connected To a Surge Protector. Its all covered by the 5 year Standard Geek Squad Protection Program.

    After we finally reached the Geek Squad, things went well. We couldn't reach them by phone, but finally did online. Despite spending a long time in our home trying, they couldn't fix our 65" Samsung TV. We had lost the right side of the picture. When they left, we had no picture at all. We had purchased the 5 year service agreement and lost the picture after 2.5 years. it was replaced with a comparable TV, but we were upset that we had to buy a new service agreement, with no credit left for 2.5 years, & that was $170!

    I had an agent come to help with some dead pixels on my TV. He was polite and efficient, giving me all of the advice I need before ultimately replacing the product. Highly recommend for peace of mind!

    TOOK more then 90 days to get a new tv had to rent

    Same as the last time this is my second time dealing with geek squad replacements. They kept replacing the board which DID NOTHING!!! i was without a tv for almost 2 months . I had to rent a tv for 89 a month until they said they needed the board to fail 3 times instead of giving a replacement. So it was a 1500 dollar tv the reciept showed every main board was 1199 so they spent 3 times the tv's cost in repairs plus whatever it cost the truck and workers and then the 4th time when they picked up the tv and dropped off the other. This is crazy and if they just stopped this weird policy i dont know if its made up or what because it was the same guy every time i do not know if he was just saying this to pocket the money or what but its a crazy thing to do keep putting something that does nothing to fix it 3 times and wasting money and everyones time and making me have to rent a tv for a month. Honestly the only reason i give 2 stars is becAUSE they finally gave me a new tv what the old one was worth.

    We bought a TV with the five year Geek Squad warranty almost five years ago. It developed white spots on the screen. We contacted Best Buy and they determined that it wasn't economical to repair and allowed us the full purchase price toward a new TV. It took a few weeks due to the virus problems but the entire procedure went smoothly. Naturally, we bought the five year protection on the new TV.

    We bought this for our previous TV. It failed just a few months before the protection expired. I called the Geek Squad, described the issue and he told me it was not repairable and I could exchange at the store. We bought a more expensive TV and only had to pay the difference. Very smooth and easy transaction. And very much worth buying on expensive items.

    If you do not buy this and your item has a hissy fit - getting service on it is EXPENSIVE... so good luck if you do not buy this coverage. I buy Geek Squad with anything that is an electronic - anytime I have had a problem - they are fast, efficient and worth it! Coverage is transferable too - handy! Always recommend!

    A no brainer for an OLED TV.

    Lots of people hate on the extended coverage programs but for an OLED TV, GeekSquad is a must. I wouldn't even consider getting an OLED if not from Best Buy, The coverage is the best in the industry, and DOES cover dead pixels, as well as burn-in. Highly recommend picking it up alongside your electronics purchases if the cost of replacing the item would be excessive or a burden.

    I had the protection on my old TV and I'm glad I did! MY TV broke 4 months after my original warranty ran out. I called them and they came out to fix it, they had to order a new board. They came back 2 more times, and they couldn't fix it, so they gave me another brand new TV. tv

    Some times it is better to to on the safe side. I have had several people I know have trouble with the T V they purchase and since this was an open box item ( evidently purchased and used to watch the super bowl and then returned based on the active account I discovered on the T V ) I wanted to play it safe and went with the warranty . SO thst if some difficulty does happen I should be in good hands for repair or replacement.

    So easy and worth it! 5 year protection plan on a Hi Sense tv, it lasted about 4. 2 phone calls and 3 days later, brand new TV delovered to my door and they hauled away the old.
