I recently purchased this product, and it has exceeded all my expectations! The quality is outstanding, and every feature works as advertised. A lot of thought and effort went into its design and functionality.

Having coverage on a super expensive greatest tv of all time til 2030 is very relieving

Just lost my TV after 4 1/2 years. They gave me back ALL my money in credit to put towards a new TV. The Upgrade is 5 times better TV, and with a $1000 credit, I only spent $1400....yes, I bought a top of the line OLED...that's why it was $2400, but affordable with the $1000 credit. This is the 2nd time that has happened to me with a TV in the past 15 years, and both times I got ALL my money back in credit for a replacement. ALWAYS get the 5-year on a TV. Even if it lasts the whole 5 years, it will probably need a repair, and that alone more than covers the cost of the warranty.

I purchased geek squad protection, had issues with 98" TV I just purchased, they came out, however I could not reproduce the issues I was having, so nothing was fixed at the time. I originally had issues trying to get geek squad to come out, customer service was saying I was not covered, however, they did come to my residence after contacting them a second time.

Great tv service with a lot of patience with all my questions

Great to have this just in case something goes wrong. I bout it and the one time I used it my tv died got money back. I forgot about the warranty I had but got an email to renew or it will expire!! That’s how I got $$ back! Just for that reason alone I bought another warranty!

It is a good plan to help one feel worry free. I just hope it would not overlap with the first year manufacturer's warranty so that there will be more years to be covered in total with less cost. Here is what I read online: "You should also check whether the coverage of the service contract overlaps with the problems and time periods the manufacturer’s warranty covers to avoid paying for unneeded coverage. You may find that any additional coverage is not worth the additional cost." I understand the coverage is different, but what I really need is a longer time manufacturer’s warranty with less cost (Accident coverage is not so important for me. I always use my furniture and electronic devices very gently and carefully).

They resolved my issue by replacing my TV with a bigger model after seeing that my TV was unrepairable. Awesome job Geek Squad!

I'm just going to make this short and sweet. You better off buying a Geek Squad or Best Buy protection / warranty plan along with any major purchases you make like a TV, sound system, refrigerator, cell phone, computer and washer/dryer. They are 98% of the time way better than the actual manufacturer's warranty and cover more. And give you less hassle when replacing or need to repair whatever you bought.

Love the geek squad protection! It offers a full protection package and in my opinion it is better than the TotalTech. If you're buying a big ticket item like a TV or any appliance, ask the customer service to cancel your TotalTech from this item and add the geek squad warranty instead. Big downside to TotalTech is that it requires you to pay a deductible on certain things. So it's like an insurance.

This is the second TV I’ve bought at Best Buy in the last 12 years. Both TVs I got the extended warranty the first TV I didn’t have to use it until almost 5 years and they fixed my TV fast and easy. I buy extended warranties on every electronics device and appliance I've purchase at Best Buy. Several years ago I bought a desktop gaming computer for my son for Christmas along with the extended warranty. He didn't take very good care of it and his mother helped things along when she dropped it and all the glass broke. In the third year of the three year warranty, I returned the thing for repair. Whatever part was needed was no longer available so Best Buy gave me a complete refund. I couldn't believe it! But I am now a believer in their extended warranty program.

like the title says it is definitely worth getting five year protection plan, anything goes wrong with your product they will have geek squad come out to your house figured the conditions of the damage product attempt to fix the damage product and the third time after they come out they decide they cannot fix it they will replace with a new product or write you a check for the amount you spent for product . I feel this plan was made for the customer not for the company, the customer no matter what the outcome will benefit from this five-year plan.

The agents were top notch. They arrived early, installed the mounting bracket beautifully and installed our new 85" tv. They reconnected all associated components. They were friendly and professional, cleaned up all packing materials, and reviewed all applicable operating instructions. These folks are awesome.
