Got just in case, got it for a mid range priced TV.. Have had issues in past with Geek Squad protection plans (had to go to Corp to get it covered as store refused to honor it).. But in the end got the other product replaced. Was told that this would not be an issue this time but only time will tell. Worth it if you have the time to call Corp to make sure you are able to use it should the store refuse..

The Squad installed my GE washer and dryer. It wasn’t easy. The configuration we had in mind was ok and would have worked but suggestions from the installation crew changed my mind. My wife was incredibly pleased with the change! They earned me some wife points. Lol. Now I am having them return and install pedestals under each!

Ordered protection after my purchase. The customer service representative was great. Got the plan set up and paid for without going back to the store.

hopefully i never have to use the warranty. Bought it for LG OLED CX 55" TV. My first OLED, B6P 55" had burn in right before 3 years. Amazon's crappy warranty would not do anything about it. LG ended up replacing the panel for free under the 3 year manufacture warranty. the CX model is 4 years newer and has better burn in retention prevention. If it burns in before 5 years, the warranty should cover fixing or replacement of the tv.

5 year protection plan was affordable and gives you a extra layer of assistance if something goes wrong with your purchase.

Thankfully, I haven't had to call them about my tv, but I've had good luck with them in the past of laptops and other pcs.

The geek squad has never disappointed me. Anytime i called with a issue they guided me through each step with no problem.

I'm so glad best buy offers warranty on their items. I always purchase the extra warranty and dont have any complaints. On my last tv purchase, i had to use the warranty because the tv started to have issues. Long story short the part did not fix the issue and the tv was no longer being sold so i got a partial credit for the tv. Something is better than nothing and this was after the 12 months but still within the 2 year warranty.

Customer service is phenomenal. The tv is perfectly set up. Highly recommend.

It's always good to be able to call someone in when things go wrong. The last time I had a TV just break with seemingly no fix, the technician spent almost a week trying to fix it before I was provided with a replacement. I have always purchased coverage any time I buy a TV from best buy because of that.

Definitely worth getting for any tv no matter where you buy it

It has saved my peasant existence of a life from spending an absurd amount of money for any product. Between defects, wear and tear over time, or bad products overall, the warranty has been very helpful. Between getting my money back, exhanging, or getting store credit, it honestly is one of the only reasons why I even shop at Best Buy.

Thankfully I have not had to use the warranty but having it is definitely a peace of mind. Great price for it as well! It covers everything I would need it to!

The agents were top notch. They arrived early, installed the mounting bracket beautifully and installed our new 85" tv. They reconnected all associated components. They were friendly and professional, cleaned up all packing materials, and reviewed all applicable operating instructions. These folks are awesome.
