I always buy protection when being open box items and computer accessories.

I have not used the Geek Squad yet, however, it gives me a peace of mind to know I have hands on assistance troubleshooting and/or options for repair if needed. My sister has had a good experience with the Geek Squad which helped me make the decision to purchase the protection plan.

Geek Squad Service is a most have with todays products. The peace of mind you get by knowing that for 5 years you have the protection of your investment by a solid group of professionals. I have made some services calls for some of the articles that I have purchased and have had issues and the service that I receive is 5 starts always.

I bought this service plan to protect my new OLED TV. I don't expect to use it but if the TV shoulde break withhin 5 years Best buy will repair or replace it. It is my understanding that because the TV was mounted by Geek Squad, that service under this plan will include mounting.

The Geek squad team is very thorough and patient when explaining and deciphering whatever problem you may have. In my case, it was my old tv. They got a team to come take a look at my problem in less then a week (during COVID-19) and were very sanitary and took necessary precautions while in my home. They wasted no time and corrected the problem very quickly. They were in and out in 10 minutes (I mean it) Bravo, y’all are bomb. Get an insurance plan guys, because it didn’t cost me a thing (or a deductible) and they’re smart and fast. Do it.

I love being protected for 5 years! Big purchases that may be expensive to repair or replace through no fault of mine is covered so I’m happy!

If you determine that you want to take care of a device for a certain amount of time, and you decide the price is right for that item, then nothing beats Geek Squad coverage. If they can’t troubleshoot your problem, they will send a technician to repair it. If they can’t repair it or determine it not to be cost effective to do so, they replace your item within the time period for your coverage. I don’t get it on everything, but for something I know I’m going to be trying to use for 5+ years, it really doesn’t make sense to forego this coverage long term.

Got the extended warranty on my new TCL. Well worth the money in my opinion as I am not familiar with the brand coming from an LG.

Some times these are a must to have these days. Bought this protection for our second dehumidifier. The first one died a few days after the factory warranty was over. You get a store credit for what you originally paid for the original so you can get a new one.

I mean all I did was get protection. If anything happens to my TV then I'll be able to get it fixed, so it definitely lowers my anxiety around that.

The mounting of the TV went smooth. Technicians were on time and cleaned up their area after mounting the TV

This saved me money in the end and unlike a lot of insurance it was used at point of purchase which made the transaction simple.

The agents are always available they are always very knowledgeable and helpful and if they can't help over the phone they get you in immediately to solve your problems if I could give them a higher rating I would definitely worth the extra money

Had an LG LED TV die on me. Brought it into Bestbuy, had to make an appointment to speak with a Geek Squad member. Next appointment was available the following weekend. I went in the next Saturday, TV was sent out within a day or so. I kept getting emails telling me what was going on. After 5 days or so they told me nothing could be done to repair the TV, it would cost too much. And I was getting a replacement. Went back to Bestbuy and they gave me a gift card for the full amount. If I didn't buy this protection plan, I would be out of $600. Needless to say I used the gift card to buy a new TV and I bought the extended warranty.

Not much to say since just got it and nothing gone wrong yet, hope you don't need it but feel relief that do. Just reviewing for the gift card entry.

Even though I did not buy the service for installation, I have used their Geek Squad protection and troubleshooting before. Most recently, my Samsung Tv which still has the protection on it had some issues. I have never had any issues with Tvs purchased here before, but after several years, the Tv had purple areas on the viewing plane. I took it to Best Buy and it wasn't worth fixing so they gave me credit to purchase another TV. I chose the LG nano series 49" Tv, which we all love. The Geek Squad service is a real good service. They know their stuff...

I haven't needed to use Geek squad yet for this TV. Great picture for the price. I was really surprised at the minimal operations manual, you have to download it for details- the docs they provide should highlight or give a link for it. Overall very happy with the TV
