Bought a Hisense 50 inch tv in 2017 and it had a problem with a line in the picture. Geek Squad came out and stood behind the TV and gave me a full refund to buy a new TV. Very happy with the outcome.

It's painful to pay so much for a warranty. But it's necessary to sleep better at night. If something goes wrong with my TV I'd much rather call best buy and say fix my TV then find some local moron to make things worse.

I always get the warranty and it pays off. twice now I have had TV issues from TV's that I have bought from Best buy and both times due to the warranty I was able to return the TV and get money back towards a new TV. I highly recommend getting a warranty with any large electronic purchase.

I get geek squad coverage with almost all purchases from best buy. Making a claim is so easy. Either repair or replacement it's way better than having to pay full price for a new item.

Fortunately did not have to use. Purchased the protection as insurance after my Son had an issue with his older big screen, they could not get the part and they gave him a full reimbursement towards a new one.

Great protection .I had a TV go completely out they covered geek squad coming to my house and new TV. Only hastle was took a couple weeks get everything going .
