Well worth it for certain item levels. Very useful option for peace of mind. Since Samsung doesn't think much of their products and provide a minimal warranty I got this to be safe. My last tv has lasted well but the next one failed in less than 2 yrs. I Showed them the issues and they instantly gave me full credit of purchase price. Too bad they don't consider a sale price when giving credit. I had to pay out a little over $100 to get an exact replacement with the current model since there were no sales at the time.

This for us is a no brainer. If your making a big investment the piece of mind geek squad gives you is nice. I bought this exact same tv a couple of years ago with no protection true story and after a couple of months the screen broke. That tv is at the town dump. Anything can happen and no it wasn’t the kids. Life happens. Even after the year a line can come down one side then the other and your out of luck. Then you’ll be wishing you got that protection. So take my inexperience as a reviewer and just get that much needed protection. Hope I helped.

In the cases where a device fails this is invaluable. Recently a TV lost the backlight and I ended up with a new TV. They replaced the TV and even refunded the unused portion of my Geek Squad protection.

Having this is like having my own nerds in my house for anything

Geek squad protection plan is better than the manufactures warranty. Worth the extra money.

I have quite a few 5-year warranties I'm so far I will say that they have done me pretty good. My LG C1 had issues they came and fixed it no problem. I also have it for my 65-inch LG C3 and an 48-Inch LG B4. I hope to not have to use it and I hope that if I do have to but I won't have any problems. So as for now it's a four-star rating

I got burned (pun intended) with my Sony A1E OLED with a couple burn ins in just owning it for 2 and a half years and didn’t have coverage. Upgraded to the LG GX OLED for my new XBOX Series X console and couldn’t be happier. I now have peace of mind knowing Geek Squad will protect from burn ins. I have used Geek Squad in the past for a product and the service is the best. No haggle or hassle. If you purchase a OLED tv I would highly recommend purchasing from Best Buy along with the geek squad protection. I purchased the 5 year plan. The cost was fair.

I have t had to use this product but I have peace of mind knowing that if a lightning strike effected my tv it would be covered .

So we got this after debating several monitor choices for our new PC, and I'm so glad I decided to grab this. It's great for gaming, okay for office work, incredible for watching shows and movies. It's only 42 inches, which is small for me for movies, but the quality is out of this world. I usually go for soundbars/speakers right away but I found the built in speakers to be manageable for now. Love it!

It never hurts to go the extra mile to have some insurance in case something goes wrong. This purchase gave me peace of mind and the value was inexpensive as well.

Worth every penny. The Geek Squad folks are great at diagnosing the problem and walking you through fixing it either through online chat or by phone. If you have to take the item in for repair, they offer convenient appointments.

I took it as a protection plan for my 65 inch. If you want a piece of my mind and not thinking of re freshening it for 5 or more years definitely recommend. Pluspoint we can transfer it to other device if we refresh. I checked other plans and by far it is best.

Havent used the geek squad warranty but purchased as the coverage is a fair price. If the backlight fails, the replacement cost is mire than the 5 year warranty/service plan.
