Their protection plans cover basically everything but user error. Never had any problems getting my items fixed or replaced if they have Geek Squad on them.

When I went to Best Buy with my warranty they refunded the full amount without a question and I purchased the same item and I am happy

I purchased geek squad for my vaccum. It stopped working and they issued a credit since they did not have the vacuum in stock.

This purchased really covered me. After my vacuum manufacturer warranty ended the Geek Squad protection plan bailed me out!

I haven't used it yet but I'm familiar with Best Buy's Geek Squad. They always come through. Most often they'll simply replace a defective or broken product... perfect!

I was having multiple issues playing DVDs on my computer and the Geek Squad was able to fix the problem even though it took a couple of visits to determine the underlying cause. They also installed software for me because I wasn't sure if it was compatible with my system. Very happy I purchased this plan.

Great option to have through Best Buy. The company will get you right with the same product if needed or similar.
