    I called the geeks on my new Hisense TV (since then, returned) to figure out a volume control problem. The first tech just said I should bring it in--no attempt to troubleshoot. The second tech spent a long time with me trying various things, and theorizing about what the cause could be; I appreciated that, even though we were ultimately unable to solve the problem and I had to return the TV.

    I did an easy setup and enjoy the automatic features my old TV didn't have. Geek squad got me through the initial setup questions.

    So worth the money! Got a new TV comparable when the picture went dead on a model purchased two years ago. A. It difficult to cash in on during COVID and geek squad staff working remotely but in the end came away with a brand new TV!

    Most people won't go for a 5 year extended warranty, but for $149. on a $700.purchase TV that would last under 10 years I figure it's worth the price. My last TV was less then 7 years old when it went. Who knows if the new ones will last that long.

    With every purchase of our Best Buy product, we include a minimum of 2 to 3 year geek squad protection. This allows us peace of mind for any issues that arise.

    I have many times bought Service Protection. Used it once on a Printer and was provided with compension toward an upgraded printer with no problem. Took this service protection out on our new Samsung 55" 8000 Series. Hope to never have to use it, but feel comfort knowing we are covered for five years.

    I hope to not need this but am assured it will cover any damages by movers. It did NOT cover transportation of the TV from the store to my house.

    I never usually get protection plans, but it was well worth it when some of my pixels went out. The process of replacing the TV was smooth, and technically was like getting an upgrade since a few years had passed.
