After some consideration I ended up purchasing the Geek Squad protection plan for my LG CX series OLED, I had it for several years and one day I noticed pink and grey horizontal lines on the lower half of my screen. I immediately called and scheduled to have one of the techs come out and diagnose my screen. The tech informed me that the cost of a new panel exceeded the allowable amount for replacement and they would actually replace my Tv for a newer generation! I could not be happier with my experience with Geek Squad and I will continue purchase a protection plans for years to come!
