    Overall great tv. Great picture, functionality, apps. The ONLY complaint I have is that the tv will start messing up communication from the remote and move erratically, leading to being unable to get to the setting to reset tv, forcing you to unplug the tv to reset it. Which is pretty annoying but other than that we absolutely love the tv!

    I added the Geek Squad 5-Year Protection Plan when I bought my new TV, and I’m really glad I did. A year in, the screen started flickering out of nowhere. One call to Geek Squad, and they had someone scheduled to check it out right away. No stress, no back-and-forth. They ended up replacing the TV without any hassle. The whole process was smooth, and they actually stood by what they promised. It gave me real peace of mind knowing I didn’t have to eat the cost of a big purchase if something went wrong.

    I could go both ways with geek squad. I have taken in laptops with starting/power issues. Because they happen to start once while the unit is there its fine. Not always. I have had a tech come to my house to repair a tv. The TV didn't work when they came, and worked when they left. But, certain features were never the same or non existant. The tech pulled my control board, looked at it and then the replacement. Apparently the numbers didn't match because he held it in position and had to check that all the connections were the same. The TV just wasn't the same afterwards. Slower, and the picture quality was not the same. I really believe that the replacement board was for a lesser model of the same TV. As far as the warranty that I always purchase on big electronics, I couldn't be happier except when sub standard parts are used. They did end up replacing that tv though. The screen finally went bad and hisense doesn't offer replacement screens. Or didnt at that time.

    Beautiful Picture Quality. Rich, Vibrant, True Colors. Highly Recommend Adding Samsung-Q-Series HW-QS750F Sound Bar. Great Sound, Reasonable Price, Bluetooth Compatible.

    3 years later and the TV and apps work just fine. The remote works fine, the color still shows clearly and the updates are easy just like a phone update.

    I purchased a TV in 2016, I also purchased the warranty for it and the representative helping me out told me that it covered accidental damage/handling and that is why I purchased it. I've always been loyal to best buy because of their warranty, I've gotten so many friends to purchase their electronics there because of it. But when I called regarding my TV and the fact that my son tipped it over and it broke the girl (Tania from the phone hub) told me I can call to make an appointment and geek squad would come out, assess the damage and they would give me a call when they would issue my credit/return. I called the 1800number and Joe from recon in Maine literally laughed when I told him and he said "uh no, you're only covered against lightning strikes essentially and manufacturers defects. I promptly told him that I live in Las Vegas and there's a bigger reason to sell warranty that covers heat since lighting (and rain) only happen a few days out of the year. But the entire time he was condescending and giggling. I am VERY dissatisfied and the fact that I got three different answers angers me because I spend a couple hundred on the warranty and it covers nothing essentially. I've purchased EVERY single electronic from Best Buy for the past 15 years and I will no longer shop there. Not only that but I'll voice my opinion on the fact that warranty on the TVs is essentially useless, specially if you live in an arid climate since your representative "Joe" claims it only covers against lightning. Customer service is also a joke, if you call 5 different times and speak to 5 different people then you get 5 different answers. Anger can only begin to express how I feel for wasting my time, money and being fed false hope in the wake of what happened to my TV.

    Although we ended up not needing Geek Squad to mount the new TV we bought from Best Buy, I wanted to share some appreciation for the tech who initially came out to do the job. He was extremely friendly and knowledgable, and gave me a really valuable recommendation on the type of screen size that was right for our living room. I ended up exhanging the original TV I bought for a different TV, which turned out to be a much better fit for the room — just as he predicted. Really appreciated his insight and am planning to use Geek Squad in the future.
