    We haven't used this service yet, we'd like to have them set up our Direct TV to come through our TV remote, but don't want to spend $99 to have them come out. I feel like we really didn't really need this service.

    I recently started having a screen issue with a TV I purchased from Best Buy; I had also purchased the Geek Squad Protection Plan. My TV was still within the extended Geek Squad warranty period. Honestly, I expected a major hassle trying to get my TV repaired/replaced. However, within a couple days Geek Squad determined my TV could not be repaired, offered almost the entire original purchase price, and applied it to a new TV of my choosing. The process was seamless and efficient, and I could not be happier! Needless to say, I once again purchased the Geek Squad Protection Plan for my new TV.
