Best Buy (Geek Squad) honors their warranty. I've bought this warranty for each of my kids laptops when they go into college. I have one who tends to have issues with her machines. In every case, Best Buy has honored the warranty and fixed or replaced the machine. Awesome Job Geek Squad!

This for us is a no brainer. If your making a big investment the piece of mind geek squad gives you is nice. I bought this exact same tv a couple of years ago with no protection true story and after a couple of months the screen broke. That tv is at the town dump. Anything can happen and no it wasn’t the kids. Life happens. Even after the year a line can come down one side then the other and your out of luck. Then you’ll be wishing you got that protection. So take my inexperience as a reviewer and just get that much needed protection. Hope I helped.

Very fast to go into the store and get things fixed

So let me share my agony. Purchased my 23 yr old Daughter a 65” TV for Christmas. It was really for my 1yr Granddaughter…SHHHH! Well I mounted it on the wall, of course, and within a month or two they moved into another apartment without the roommates. Before place was remodeled for them they spent 3 weeks at her In-Laws. Well I moved them both times and when TV was turned on again after two moves, though seemingly perfect, the screen had apparently been pressed to hard at a single point and did not work. Not worth fixing. Bought her a 70” this time WITH THE WARRANTY!! Don’t make the same mistake I did :]

I have had no issues with Geek Squad in the past. maybe just the wait time to see a tech.

The installers were very professional. They were on time, removed the old broken wall mounted TV and installed this beautiful LG OLED. They showed me their recommended setting. Haven’t need to change any setting though I tried, but couldn’t improve anything.

Have'nt had problems with TV. Its only a month since i purchased it, but like the peace of mind knowing that if there's a problem i can call the Geek Squad. Bought a two year extended warranty.

I will tell you right now I always recommend a five-year warranty when you buy a TV especially if you're a type of smart buyer that doesn't constantly buy like some Enthusiast or fomo having person. I

Well worth it for certain item levels. Very useful option for peace of mind. Since Samsung doesn't think much of their products and provide a minimal warranty I got this to be safe. My last tv has lasted well but the next one failed in less than 2 yrs. I Showed them the issues and they instantly gave me full credit of purchase price. Too bad they don't consider a sale price when giving credit. I had to pay out a little over $100 to get an exact replacement with the current model since there were no sales at the time.

5 year service plan awesome price $249 and glad I haven't had to use it

Can't really provide an opinion yet, as we have yet to use the warranty. Obviously, the product has to break in order to evaluate the extended warranty service. But hopefully the warranted product will never have to be serviced under the warranty period.

They are genuinely good people but they couldnt help with what i needed.

So glad I paid for this. Our TV stopped turning on after about a year and half of use. Since I got this service they are coming to make sure that it can’t be fixed and if it can’t it’s getting replaced for free! Can’t beat that!

Always a good warranty to have and utilize with any product.

This TV has the greatest picture and really sounds great - even when you turn the volume up high. It was very easy to mount on the wall.

I hope to never need this service, but if I do, it is nice to know that I don't have to haul the TV in for service, it will be repaired in my own home!
