ALWAYS BUY FOR ADDITIONAL COVERAGE. I did not like that my purchased warranty outsourced my repair to a NON-Geek Squad company. They picked up and returned my television and the problem persisted. After I complained to GEEK SQUAD I received a call back they diagnosed the tv over the phone and I was instructed to return the television to Best Buy for a refund at the current listed price.

Great service after factor warranty has expired. Customer service has always been great and we purchase this on all our Electronics . Very pleased with our service after the sale.

Purchased for our other tv, same idea as we have young kids and it is not a good day when the living tv gets smashed and you have no warranty/protection plan and end up spending 10x as much if ya buy the plan rather than a whole new tv.

Everyone should get the 2 year geek squad protection for any television that they purchase from Best Buy, because you got that extra protection if something goes terrible wrong like the television screen goes totally blurry or if the television screen stops working all together! Just having that extra protection is definetly worth the extra money, so that you are protected, and don't have to throw away your television into the trash can! Everyone should be protected! I have purchased this protection for the last few years for my peace of mind. I've used them a few times, they installed my hardwired Ring doorbell, backyard Ring camera with the solar panel, over the range microwave, etc. All done well and professionally. Although I don't use them much, it's better to have them and not need them, than to need them and now have to pay out of pocket full charge.

If I ever have to use the Geek Squad warranty I’ll feel confident if they all are as competent, knowledgeable and courteous as Kelyn.

If you do not buy this and your item has a hissy fit - getting service on it is EXPENSIVE... so good luck if you do not buy this coverage. I buy Geek Squad with anything that is an electronic - anytime I have had a problem - they are fast, efficient and worth it! Coverage is transferable too - handy! Always recommend!

Nice alternative to the usual one year warranty. We had a laptop we bought once that didn’t have it and the screen stopped working just out of warranty. In the long run, it’s worth the extra charge for peace of mind.

The agents helped with my return of my tv due to a crack in the screen.

Havent had to use it yet, but it was a great price for $99 added to tv.
