I had my ice maker for 7 months and the fan went out but since i had the protection plan i took it to best buy and got an exchange since this isnt an easy fix.

Depending on the cost, the extended warranties can be a life-saver. You have to weight the cost of the plan verses the cost of the product and the likelihood of failure...I almost always buy them.

Have had several Ice makers and they tend to not last as long as I would hope. But with this warranty, I won't have to worry. Well worth the price for the piece of mind.

We purchased this just in case. The cost of the appliance was so inexpensive that you could really get away with not purchasing the additional Geek Squad protection.

I feel it is a safe purchase, but have yet to use it at this time. Looking forward to having it for my family repairs and security.

I'm not sure how you review an insurance policy, unless you have a problem with what you bought. It hasn't detracted from my experience so far.

I always get Geek Squad protection on all my appliances. I've had to have computers fixed and eventually replaced. They provided great service and ensuring I don't loose my money on a purchase even if it breaks.

Have not had to use it , thank goodness. Rainy day protection.
