If you buy a household item that’s expensive and used a lot, getting this is a no brainer. Had a vaccuum die, and since they didn’t have one to replace it in stock, I was able to get a newer version with the gift card I received with the cost of my original product

Always get the extended warranty. It has saved me many times over and bestbuy has always kept their word on replacement of defective items. There is nothing like being able to replace broken/defective items in the same day with no hassle.

Geek squad protection is always a plus! I only have ever had to use them once but it’s better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it when it comes to expensive electronics, right?

Purchased for an ice machine that ended up breaking after the initial 1 year warranty. Piece of mind to have the geek squad protection as it got us to a brand new ice machine!

Very easy to schedule my appointment online. I didn't have to wait at all once i arrived and my representative was friendly and knowledgeable. My item was replaced under my 4 year warranty and everything was perfect.

My advice? Always buy the Protection Plan. So affordable and so easy. I’ve easily replaced appliances that started to give us trouble. No receipt, no hassle. (All the info is stored on your Best Buy account.) Best Buy is essentially backing up something that may or may not have been manufactured in a quality way. These plans are truly a “Best Buy!”

Anytime I buy something that is over $200 and contains any type of electronics I purchase the Geek Squad 2 year Protection Plan. This way I always know I'm protected and covered by the BEST protection to cover my electronics and I don't have to worry that it will fall back on on me to have to purchase a New one within 2 years time. I also can get a New plan at the two year mark by bringing my electronics to the Geek Squad to see if there is any damage and to make another year extension. What more can I ask for?

Above and beyond quickly. My remote to TV had two and technician combine to one. It was very easy to use and convenient for me. Senior citizen are so grateful to have your service with field worker that give us helping hands. Thanks to Best Buy staff.

Glad I purchased the 4-Year Standard Geek Squad Protection, as It covered an non-repairable item I purchased at 14 months of use, so, if I had not purchased this, I'd be out about $700 as the 1 year factory warranty would of been expired. But, discovered that once the defective device was deemed not repairable, and I was refunded my original cost of the item, that if I had purchased another identical unit to replace the defective one, that I would not be able to use the remaining years of this 4-Year Standard Geek Squad Protection I would have to purchase another Standard Geek Squad Protection for the new device. Since I did not use the entire 4-Year Standard Geek Squad Protection, I would think that I could use the remaining 'balance of time' to apply to a replacement unit.

Can’t go wrong with Best Buy protection plans, they give you the peace of mind you need when spending a lot of money on tech.

Used my warranty on ice maker & the return & exchange for new one was quick & easy. Definitely worth the price especially on any electronics nowadays since itself easier & cheaper to replace than pay for repairs has been my experience with modern electronics
