I feel it was a good purchase and do hope that I do not need to use it. Hard to pass a good buy to protect something.

I got insurance didn’t have to perches the item again out of pocket they just exchanged it and allow me to add insurance to the replacement this is awesome they go above and beyond for their shoppers great service

You never go wrong with adding an extended warranty especially at Best Buy. I hope we never have to use it. But if we do we know that any issues we have will get fixed and everything will be taken care of through the geek squad

Never really had to use it but when I have it saved me $$. I don’t have the income to spend hundreds on an I got to do this now basis. So it can come in handy.

I purchased this protection for my microwave and haven't had to use it yet luckily but I did call and have some questions and they were exceptional in helping me out thanks

Purchased the additional warranty with our new GE microwave for the just in case issues. Pretty simple and straight forward. We are looking to purchase more household items from bestbuy and will add warranties to those as well since it was low priced and easy to do. Thank you.

I purchased an LG microwave on July 11, 2023, with a 4-year protection plan. On Aug 25, 2025, it had an opening issue, and the door jammed. Geek Squad agent, without even looking at it, flatly said Yes, it's covered, but we will have to ship it, and it could take 2 months or more to get it all fixed. So they basically wanted me to wait for 2 plus months, and the microwave is one of those appliances I use every day. After this terrible experience, I would recommend not purchasing the Geek Squad warranty. While purchasing this microwave, they were pushing the warranty on me and said no matter what happens, it's covered, Best Buy will try to fix it, if not, I`ll be provided with the new one or the option to buy another model if that particular model wasn`t available. Look elsewhere or make sure you get everything in writing. Two months to fix a jammed microwave door? That`s really unheard of.

Have a protection plan it pays if you need it. Plus they were very helpful to get our microwave sent off and then to get a new one

I try to buy purchase this with all my appliance purchases. Glad I purchased it again this time. It provided a quick and easy way to get a new microwave when my first microwave failed.

I ALWAYS BELIEVE IN SUPPORTING THE TEAM WHERE I PURCHASED MY PRODUCT. IN THIS DAY AND AGE PRODUCTS MAY NOT BE BUILT LIKE THEY WERE YEARS AGO SO A LITTLE ADDED PROTECTION AND A RESONABLE COST IS WELL WORTH IT.

Made it almost a year. Today while cooking in what we normally do, it started soarking! Made sure no metal but kept happening. Looks like time for a new one but is under the 2 yr warranty so hope to get a replacement. Other than this, we have had excellent experience with this machine.

I would say Geek squad protection is a must for our costly gadgets and electronics. I had a good experience with the Geek squad team when I really need to use the program. Friendly team members and hassle-free experience.

I have used them in the past to replace screens for laptops and they have never messed up my electronics yet.
