Always hard to want to spend the extra on a warranty you may not use. For us though it saved us from having to spend alot to replace our tv when it burned out but still under warranty

Geek squad protection is a must. So worth the money. I get it on almost everything I buy from bestbuy. Expensive tv and xbox remote broke.80 bucks was alot cheaper than having to buy new one.

2 year protection plan is great! I don't normally need them, as after doing a bit of research helps me buy a quality product, but if something does happen....you get a gift card for the actual cost of the item that no longer functions to be used for whatever you want from Bestbuy!

Thankfully, I haven't had the need to use it, but I would totally recommend getting the warranty for this TV. This TV was our best buy yet, and I would hate to have something happen to it and not be able to repair it. It is better to be safe than sorry.
