It’s a option that I purchased in addition to the TV. Fortunately, I haven’t had to use the warranty yet.

Was looking into buying a TV through Samsung as there protection plan and other offers seemed pretty good, but then looked through Best Buy and the offers with Geek Squad protection seemed just a few points better money and protection-wise. Geek Squad does a good job of servicing any needs or issues.

The guys were great!! I do have a question I forgot to ask. Can the solar remote be replaced with a battery remote? 2. Can I buy a solar remote that is bigger? Would appreciate if Matt or Jaime could answer those questions.

Hopefully it never gets used but for the peace of mind it’s definitely worth its weight in gold

I am usually a skeptic when it comes to the actual coverage on these warranties but I can say that geek squad definitely helped my with out a hassle. Tech came out assessed the issue and with in minute I had my replacement options . In store easy process for the new replacement. Get the warranty it works if needed

Although it took alot of holding of the phone & waiting in line at the store, all in all, I'd recommend this protection plan. If it weren't for the 2 year plan we purchased, I'd have to fork out at least $500 for a TV comparable to the one we had that just gave out. Instead, we received a $400 gift card to use towards a new one. I paid $150 out of pocket for the difference. Not bad at all. In fact, this time around I paid for the 5 year protection plan. It could use some streamlining as far as customer service is concerned but still worth the trouble I went through.
