I have used geek squad on a couple of other items (computer, vacuum, washer and dryer). The couple of times we had to use them, they were easy and quick to use. I will definitely recommend them to anyone.

The Geek Squad professionals quickly mounted my television and peripherals. Additionally, they assisted me in set-up and provided a thorough overview of the features.

I haven’t had to use the service yet, and only felt I needed it due to the nature of OLED screens. Hopefully if the time comes I need to use it, there won’t be any additional problems.

Geek Squad protection plans are affordable and give me that extra peace of mind with my Best Buy purchases. Free in home Geek Squad visits have been very helpful! They migrated data between my two I Macs and are helping me fine tune my Wi-Fi system in the house. The agents even make product recommendations and schedule a future appointment to deliver and install new items.

We purchased the protection plan at the recommendation of the salesman at Best Buy. We were purchasing a new Samsung SMART 3D 4K TV and he thought we should have it for our peace of mind. We have problems with our power going out when it gets windy, and we were told that power flickering and power outages can potentially damage TVs. We opted to purchase the protection plan so we could feel better about our large investment in our new TV.

Great coverage for small money on a large item that can quickly become unreplacable .
