I'm comfortable purchasing the geek squad protection plan for my electronics because in the past, their services was very effective for me and encouraging.

Can't go wrong with purchasing additional insurance for your product. No need to send to the manufacturer. Just return to BBY and no hassles.

Although, not necessary for all my purchases, we typically purchase replacement plans on our big purchases. Best Buy has always made it easy to exchange a defective product, and that to me was worth it.

No worries about Television longevity with 5year Geek Squad warrantee. I know they'll make whatever issues arise right 1st time, every time.

i will always purchase geek squad for major purchases! This was for the tv we bought when we first moved into our home!

But I can say anytime I have the opportunity to buy with BestBuy I always do for they cover a lot of things the Manufactures do not. And they keep their Word, at least up to this point with me...

This is a must when buying a big package and who doesn't like a seceding set of eyes and help reinstalling stuff on the hard drive

I've used this service for one of my products and I wasn't pleased with the turn around time. The flipside is that my product was fixed and working properly upon it's return.

This warranty is kind of expensive, but from what I’ve been reading I think it’s worth it. Apparently if you have anything wrong with your product, you just bring it to Best Buy and they’ll give you a new one.

If the geek squad protection is as good as the replacement warranty this will be great.
