DO NOT BUY A SONY TV

I have had nothing but problems with the one I purchased and I keep getting the run around. It will lose cable channel reception when other tvs in the house do not. It shuts down on the cable side while the internet channels work. OR, it will work on the cable side but the apps (Netfix, YouTube) freeze up. 2. Sony has used the covid 19 issue to shut down their tech support. You can not even speak with a tech. This is a smoke screen - they could have the techs work from home as millions of other support people do. It's BS. I'm still fighting with Best Buy and it's been 3 months. NEVER,EVER AGAIN!

It's been going on a month!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the extended warranty for a TCL TV, I've been having intermittent lengthy black screen and having to uninstall and reinstall apps. I scheduled a service appointment and was contacted by a third party repair service (Randy) was GREAT! He determined there were no parts available. That"s then turned over to another third party AIG insurance company, after three weeks they have never contacted me I've been on hold for a total of over 4 hours with never an answer. I contacted the geek squad at my local store and was told he would get back to me but never did. I got someone on the geek squad help line this morning and was told he would make a contact. Just beware you are not really buying a best buy warranty it's an insurance company! Good luck with them!
