I got this protection for my first tv, when it broke and could not be repaired. A $799.99 They gave me my choice of a new tv of the same amount of money. So, when I got my new TV, I took the same Protection on my new tv. A very good deal.

I think it's important to get the protection plan. The first time I used it was for my dyson cordless vacuum. I got a completely new one because it could not be fixed in the store. But of course for the new one you would have to purchase a new protection plan. I've also purchased it for a TV but since it was my son who threw something at the TV (accidentally) and the screen looked chatterd it definitely was not covered. All I could get back was the protection plan money because it was still under the year I purchased it on.

Got just in case, got it for a mid range priced TV.. Have had issues in past with Geek Squad protection plans (had to go to Corp to get it covered as store refused to honor it).. But in the end got the other product replaced. Was told that this would not be an issue this time but only time will tell. Worth it if you have the time to call Corp to make sure you are able to use it should the store refuse..

Geek squad service is a must. If you are buying anything from best buy, it is worth spending a fee bucks for the geek squad protection. I got a sony TV and installed the tv stands. I noticed after my installation that the TV was shaking and it could fall down. I called best buy and the Geek Squad team were very happy to help.

Best Buy has excellent customer service regarding their service plan protection. When used, they actually repair the issues or replace when needed.

It's always good to be able to call someone in when things go wrong. The last time I had a TV just break with seemingly no fix, the technician spent almost a week trying to fix it before I was provided with a replacement. I have always purchased coverage any time I buy a TV from best buy because of that.

The sales representatives were very helpful and the checkout time was very good and the customer services was good also.

It just arrived, I installed it and everything was as expected, great image quality, sound. The perfect installation process, the TV does everything almost by itself, I recommend it to all those who are lovers of good things in terms of quality-price, I recommend that two people assemble it due to the weight and safety

I purchased this tv over a year ago and absolutely love it. The picture quality is great! I love all the feature with how the UI is set up for all my streaming services. I love the simplicity of the remote.
