I bought a Sony TV on sale, purchased the 5 year warranty. TV went dead 15 months. Hoped for equivalent or same TV with a 3+ year unexpired warranty. Got my purchase price back, no extended warranty on unexpired warranty. So, to replace the TV, cost was $100 more, plus a new $60 warranty. On a $350 purchase, probably not a good idea.

Have enrolled for geek squad so that extends my warranty by 3 more years

It's always smart to purchase the extended warranty, I would not want to haul a 75 inch tv around to get repaired.

I get geek squad protection on all my appliances and TV. Repair everything at no additional cost and what can't fix will be replaced.

I have the protection of knowing my product will be repaired or replaced if it breaks down.

Got the service but haven't had to used it yet. Good to know the help is there when needed.

To pay such a small amount of money to have peace of mind for five years is out standing!

This is a great buy because when your manufacturer warranty is gone you have a second option if they can't fix it you get another one.
