    I purchased a protection plan along with a TV purchase to ensure I had a working and functional TV for at least 5 years. The purchased TV was the high end of the brand at the time and we've enjoyed it. Unfortunately I cannot say the same regarding the protection plan. In my first year, we ran into issues with the TV. It was under manufacturers warranty, so they covered a motherboard replacement. Within a few weeks of the manufacturers warranty ending, ran into more issues with the TV. This is the reason I purchased the protection plan and thought I was covered. It was easy getting someone out to inspect and determine another motherboard replacement was needed. That was during my last week of my remote job. I have since started a new job that's 45mins away. I communicated this and the technician said it wasn't a problem and scheduled a Saturday appointment. The date rolls around and no communication from Best Buy all day. I call and am told no agent was assigned and would escalate my issue. It cascaded downhill more and more from here. I had a total of 5 escalations and >12 interactions with Best Buy customer service via chat, call, and in store. Then I'm finally told by someone at corporate that they don't have Saturday appointments in my area and said I should take PTO. It's a new job that I haven't received any PTO yet, so the rep was basically putting me in position to call out sick and hurt my reputation and employment status with this employer. I ask about options like exchanging or returning for store credit and was told that's not an option because they haven't gotten a chance to fix it. They won't work with you for Saturday appointments. So I've been stuck with a malfunctioning TV for months and am told my only option was to mail a complaint to corporate. I mailed a letter to corporate and still haven't received any type of communication. I've been a long time customer of Best Buy. Very disappointed by this situation and I feel cheated being stuck with a malfunctioning TV. Why would I ever shop at Best Buy again after an experience like this?

    It’s nice to have a piece of mind that I have warranty over the TV and I did at first didn’t want to get it and then I decided against that and got it anyways and they just easily approved it so I like that that I don’t have to do a bunch of paperwork to do it

    Had 2 tvs replaced by Best Buy and had no problems with them! I always buy it on all my tvs! About to buy another tv from Best Buy and the service plan! Only people I buy from!

    I have used the Geek Squad in the past, and they have been very helpful. Knowing that you have someone to call when something happens to your product is a relief.

    I think the Geek are the best cause they help you in a lot of ways they make sure you are protected and you feel so happy because they look into everything. PS that's why I recommend the Geek group as well cause they take care of you to the best of knowledge to help you .

    Worth having for peace of mind, however with my PS5 purchase experienced the worst of the worst. Had a PS5 failure within three months of the purchase, and because stock is extremely limited the benefit's do not apply. There are no consoles in store to replace them with so you end up relying on the manufacturer to take care of you. Worth buying for items in store, not so much with PS5

    Must have on any tv! Over the years I’ve made it a must to include geek quad on all my tv purchases. They are prompt, capable and stand by their products.

    Really amazed about how the service was handled, just call and they gave me the appointment date for the technician and once he knows my tv problem I receive and email in my case to exchange my tv, thank

    I know we bought this protection for a computer that are 7 year old child uses and I've already forgotten I had this plan it's been a year now and had absolutely no issues with my computer. So I'm happy to say I bought this plan for issues but it's funny I've already forgotten about the plan. It just goes to show that Best Buy sells a product that doesn't need a plan. I'm not saying I didn't need the plan I'm saying I bought a good product regardless.

    Geek Squad Protection Plan The Best

    Most protection plans are a waste of money but this plan is money well spent. After 3 years my OLED tv’s picture went bad and Geek Squad replaced it with a brand new top of the line tv. I am extremely happy and I highly recommend this protection plan to everyone with a high end tv.

    Look no further, for the price you won't get a better picture than this. Almost OLED quaility, but way brighter, so perfect for a Living room with lot of natural light. Save $1000 and get this unit a try.

    I have never been disappointed with any LG item I have purchased, and this one is no different. Easy set up out of the box as well as easy to connect the AppleTV and LG soundbar. The picture quality is perfect, as is the size. I would definitely buy another.

    This is a great protection plan considering it’s only $19.99. My T.V. wasn’t displaying a picture only sound. Took it to the Geek Squad and they replaced it for me. It was fast and easy. The staff was also great! Biji was great, very professional, helpful and nice. This was definitely a pleasant experience!
