Geek squad serviced my tv. Weren’t able to fix so they gave me store credit for old tv and I was able to purchase a new tv for no cost. Awesome!

This was protection for an Open Box TV. I have already reviewed that TV as excellent and the warranty was not needed. I cannot say I would recommend the service since I did not need to use it but if you are purchasing an open box I guess, like me, you may wish to buy the warranty as it still was cheaper than the full price of a new set.

Always hard to want to spend the extra on a warranty you may not use. For us though it saved us from having to spend alot to replace our tv when it burned out but still under warranty

I didn't use the geek squad for this item, although I have heard so many good things about them and thier prompt services.I would definitely use them.

Money is tight. I usually don't pony up extra for some warranty the clerk's trying to sell me on top of the warranty that comes with it! But when it's the Geek Squad, I'll take it. It is SOOO much easier & nicer to be able to come down & talk to someone in person versus calling someone a 1000 mIles away that I can barely understand who gives me the run-around anyway! No thanks, I'll take the Geek Squad.

I feel that when you spend over $300 on a tv you should buy an extended warranty! It’s better to be covered in the event something goes wrong! I like that it will be serviced in my home because of the size of the TV! So for 5 years I can be reassured that I can have my tv for years to come!

We had a 2 warranty and had to use it two months before it expired got a full refund for original purchase and was able to buy a new tv the same day !!!!!! Great service

I always buy the protection when spending nearly 2000 on a tv. Bought the KS9500 and within the first 6 months, the screen displayed a line of dead pixels! Glad I had the protection.

Fantastic tv with beautiful picture quality. Yes, there are better quality screens on the market but they carry price tags at least 5x what this was. Great upgrade for me, expect it to last me the next several years

I almost always buy buy the Geek Squad protection plan for any TV or computer purchase. We recently had a bad power surge that knocked out several of our TVs. One TV was still under the 5 yr warranty. I took the TV in, they sent it to be checked out. Best Buy ended up replacing my 4 1/2 year old TV with a brand new one, that ended up being an upgrade from what I had. Well worth the money in this case.

I haven't had to use it yet but the did use it on the last TV that I purchased and it was great. They came out and repaired the TV twice over 3 years. Then, on the third repair, they gave me a store credit for a new equivalent TV or I could use the amount towards a better one. Simple and very pleasant.

Let me tell you it is really great having the Geek Squad Protection for what ever you purchase because you never know what is going to happen to your purchase's. I have learned that before so from then on I have been getting it on what ever I get that says that I can get it just to have it.

Ive always purchased geek squad insurance with all my major electronics or appliances! They've always fixed or replaced my items if needed!

I have this service (hopefully, I'll never need to use it) just in case I need their help with my product after the initial manufacturer's warranty is expired. In the event that may happen, I was told by Best Buy employees that the Geek Squad assistance will be straightforward and easy to use.

2 years coverage for ~$100 seems like a great offer for product support from Bestbuy
