This is an insurance policy and as such it provides peace of mind even if it isn't ever used. It made sense for my TV and wasn't too expensive.

Excellent picture. Sound not that good. Documentation consists of too many pieces. Why not combine all into one booklet? Mounting feet seem too flimsy. Tipping danger. Feet should be beefed up. Be careful to note overall footprint width. It probably will not fit on your existing stand. I had to purchase a new piece of glass to accommodate extra width. Did not notice this because unit was wall mounted in store. My bad.

I always try to buy this plan on all of my purchases. Now, if my mother-in-law's TV breaks down, I can get it fixed for her.

Especially after reading other reviews on this tv and considering the great price, the cost of Geek Squad was minimal and provides peace of mind.

Had a 2015 Samsung screen die a week before warranty was up(planned obsolescence?) and BB gave me full refund and honored warranty. It's also the ONLY warranty to cover the specific term "burn-in" for OLED. Great warranty!

I haven't used jt yet. But is nice to k ow the Geek Squad us there to help anytime. :)

My experiences with geek squad have been good and I think it's worth it most of the time to invest in a plan.

Definitely worth the extra cost for peace of mind. Our other TV died a month after the warranty expired and we didn't get an extended warranty on it, so we learned our lesson.

Knowledgeable people who work to get whatever problem solved within your contract. They are there when you need them.

I purchased this TV and when I got it home and set it up there was an issue with the picture. Called and representative told me to bring it back and the would exchange it. The next day I got a new TV and they even checked to make sure everything was okay with it before I left the store.

Haven't had to use this service yet because my sony tv boke within the first year.

Piece of mind when dealing with flat screen led television

Any time you buy an electronic device, it’s better to get an extended warranty. No worries on extra costs for repairs.

I bought it for my tv, but when I had problem with my tv display they refused to fix it saying that there’s a physical damage; however there were absolutely no physical damage at all and it was like new. They told me even though there’s no visible damage but it is considered physical damage. I just wasted my money buying geek squad protection

I all ways have so kind of problem with my computer and they are all ways there when I call or chat on line and my problem is all ways taken care of as for the TV I have not had a problem. For the table there ways a black screen and it was not fixed so it was replaced.

Always get the geek squad protection with everything you buy from Best Buy. They fix and replace it for free if anything gets broken or damaged.

I always purchase insurance on all my items. I love the fact that I can get to my local Best Buy and get the help asap. I've used Geek Squad and they definitely helped me with all my questions and guide me on replacements when needed.

The agent that I talked to was very knowledge of my protection plan. I had no problem with switching out my TV.
