    I'm skeptical about the protection plan or if it will ever be needed. Price is a little high and most people never need it. Most tv's have problems in the 1st year if any at all, but for the price I paid for the tv it couldn't hurt especially if something does go wrong. If my tv was on the smaller side or cheaper side I would have reconsidered.

    I got coverage of 2 yrs for $40 which is less than ~2/month. TV I bought has warranty of 1 yr only and don't want to spend extra money on repair.
