I bought the 5 year protection plan and hope I never have to use it for my Sony tv but just in case the geek squad protection plan is as good as it gets from Best Buy.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: I always but the protection plans. I have a kid that can be hard on his electronics and this covers everything.

bought 65" insignia 4k tv in july - hdmi ports (all 3) failed in mid november - purchased 4 year geek squad svc contract - contacted geek squad service - 4 separate chat sessions, and 1 telephone call later, they have yet to have the repair person come to my home to put a new motherboard in my tv - it is not even scheduled!! on the telephone call this morning, their rep said they did not even have a repair person in this area (syracuse, ny), to service tv's. they took my money for the contract but can't even provide the service!! buyers beware of this tactic - service is not part of their dna!!!

I have not used the Geek Squad on this tv yet but I have on past purchases and have always been pleased. That is why I bought the service for this TV.

I've been running the LG - 65" Class CX Series OLED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV for about a year and a half now and I'm still impressed. It just looks amazing. Not since I bought a plasma TV have I been this impressed.

So glad I got the extra protection. I don’t get it for every purchase, but this is one product I couldn’t protect against surges because of space limitations behind the product. If you can spend a little extra money on the major appliances/products then the protection is worth it.

I bought a Sharp 70 inches 3 years ago. The screen pixels started to go bad. I called Bestbuy and explained my observations. They sent out a tech to check it a day later. In two days they offered to give me another TV or comparable credit because my Sharp was no longer in stock. Am glad I spent the extra money for the additional 5 years warranty.

I have used them in the past when my computer was hacked into. Hackers really messed up my computer. I appreciated the service Geek Squad did for me. They cleaned it well. Problem was solved...and I got my money back from my Visa Card....The hackers were really stupid--committed fraud BIG TIME!

Lydia installed the mount and my tv with ease. She also hooked up my devices and answered all my questions. Thank you Geek Squad.

Honestly a great looking tv had it for over a year I love lg oled’s they really are the number 1 Tv’s for movies, shows, and gaming.

After the bad experience i had with my first tv i brought from best buy i almost didn't buy another one.

I had a previous 5 year warranty on my old TV. The picture went bad 1 month before the warranty expired. I was handled professionally all the way. New TV, installation and programming of my universal remote, everything for free. Great warranty.

I always get the Geek Squad service for all long of a period as they offer. I have never had an issue with them taking addressing an issue when it comes up!

I love the geek squad. It has always been a great investment. Peace of mind knowing it’s there if your product fails. When I have had to use the protection plan it has always been a seamless process with geek squad agents. I will not make any major purchase without having geek squad protection.
