I didn't use the geek squad for this item, although I have heard so many good things about them and thier prompt services.I would definitely use them.

I purchased the protection plan for a very expensive tv that I purchased. It suffered a power surge failure only a few weeks after I got it home, and I was so happy that I had protection! They came out and delivered a new tv with no hassle. Great service!

The agents knew what they were doing which was a pleasant surprise. Installed item for my elderly Mother without and issue.

I purchased a 40" Sony with extended warranty. At about month 14, std warranty ended at month 12, I suffered a lightning strike that took out my TV. I brought it in to Best Buy, they shipped it off for analysis and they gave me a full credit. I used that credit plus some cash to purchase a new Sony 65" XBR 4k TV. Awesome pic.

The Geek Squad from Best Buy is wonderful, this is my second warranty with Best Buy. The one I already purchased for my washing machine was well worth the purchase, the Geek Squad would send someone to the house to do the repairs free of charges

My grandson mounted my TV on the wall. When the TV was delivered, I was shown how it operates. I'm very pleased.

The delivery guys were extremely nice and very helpful

i recently had to replace a tv after 2 years of use. The geek squad looked at it and it was not repairable. They gave me the money I spent on the TV as a store credit and I purchased another TV.

[Employee of bestbuy] Crucial for any large purchase a Best buy. Always worth it to put protection on your item.

When I bought a new 55" TV I got this 5 year protection plan because it was offered at a good price (and included delivery and setup) and because my 2011 TV (same price range TV) went out after only 4 years..and on which I did not have a protection plan. So far I have not had to use my protection plan but better to be safe than sorry.

As a former employee and someone who still shops at best buy a lot getting the protection plan is a no brainer for TVs and anything that has the "accidental handling" plan.

I have used Geek Squad in the past while not actually paying for the service. They have always helped me and with today's technology, I decided I should pay for this service to have like you would with any insurance. I think if anything goes wrong with my t.v. I bought this for, it would be a necessity to have. Great customer service and well worth it.

Great help quality personnel now. I will recruit workmen everybody to get the geek squad. I give them Too thumbs up

Geek squad is the way to go for all purchases made at Best Buy. Now I know your probably thinking well it's a scam and my product has a manufacturer warranty.... Well that's true but the keyword is manufacturers. They only cover thing typically associated with their parts or process. Typically only for 1 year. Like the title says NO BRAINER

The agents helped me with picking the best tv mount for my needs.

It's always good to have a service plan on your electronics.
