    Geek Squad is great, making an appt is not easy and it was canceled twice, there is no way to just get a new appt time, also language barrier is a problem. But actual techs were prompt, knowledgeable, helpful, thanks to Paul and company!

    Its always a pain to return a tv through geek squad. From the initial call which you almost always have to wait 20 minutes . They always seem to have a real problem finding my service plan. I have multiple accounts and have bought many many tvs from them but they should be able to figure it out. I own sportsbars in FL and I only buy from Best Buy but they really needto figure this out because when i have a tv go down i want it back up and running as quick as possible but its always a hassle. At each of my clubs i have a back up ready to replace tvs that go down so my actual business is never really effected but we always regret having to call geek squad because we know its gonna be such a hassle and its gonna be a lot of time sitting on phone having to wait for a service guy to come out and tell us what we already know then take it to a store and replace. It would be nice if they brought a replacement tv with them when they come out. But instead u have to get a service order made then you got to call geek squad again and wait on line for 20 minutes. Then usually another 10 or 20 minutes to find the info from the multiple accounts. I have never had anyone help me combine all accounts into 1 account. It seems like that would make the most sense but instead i have to go through the same process every time. Its exausting. I love Best Buy but service plans are always a pain for me.

    I will not buy anything without this extended warranty because it is very convenient for me and the staff is very knowledgeable. Every time i ask a question i get a very knowledgeable response.

    I always get the Geek Squad service for all long of a period as they offer. I have never had an issue with them taking addressing an issue when it comes up!

    Geek Squad was accommodating in that they replaced my 5 year warranty that was purchased in April of 2017 and gave me a new one that started with my new TV purchased October 2020, they had to replace since my old tv that I purchased in April 2017 was damaged when it was sent to be repaired by Geek Squad.

    Thankfully, I haven't had the need to use it, but I would totally recommend getting the warranty for this TV. This TV was our best buy yet, and I would hate to have something happen to it and not be able to repair it. It is better to be safe than sorry.

    Protection Plan Is Better Than I Expected

    This 2 year protection service lived up to its promise. I bought a floor model TV. Ten days later it had technical issues. The Geek Squad surpassed my expectations. I not only received store credit for the TV, they also credit the money that I spent on this protection plan.

    I had forgot I bought the warranty until my tv died abs I looked up when I bought it. It was 4.5 years, and Best Buy gave me zero hassles. They sent a repair person to try and fix it. When he could not, Best Buy sent the new model for the old tv.

    After unboxing my TV a couple weeks after delivery, I found that it would not turn back on after the initial set-up. Geek Squad was amazing, and provided me with a new unit in less than 24 hours!!

    I always believe in purchasing extended warranty on expensive items and this TCL 65" Q TV was no exception. In the past whenever I had problems with my other TV's, etc. the Geek Squad was right there to make things right saving me a lot more $ than the Best Buy protection cost. It really is a good investment.

    For higher price items I've always bought extended warranties from BEST BUY. They have great customer service and and support with these warranties if you ever have an issue during the warranty period you purchase....

    I recommend extended warranties on most high-end televisions. The cost of replacement panels are well worth the warranty price. If they don't make the parts anymore Best Buy will give you the replacement value in a equally featured television. The extended warranty has paid off for me in the past.

    I bought the 5 year protection plan and hope I never have to use it for my Sony tv but just in case the geek squad protection plan is as good as it gets from Best Buy.
