5 year extension of tv warranty for the larger TVs seems to make sense in my experiences over the past 10 years.

Never had to use it so I gave it five stars because it was there IF i needed it.

Excellent TV for the money. Good quality picture and sound.

I'd never buy a TV without a geek squad protection. Dead Pixels are a small fraction of failures, but things like wear and tear and surge protection are always a factor. I've dealt with BBY on a previous failure and everything went smoothly.

Geek squad protection has saved me sooo many times omgosh!!! I do not buy electronics without this and that's why I buy all of my electronics from Best Buy! Thank you Geek Squad!!!

The cost for this type of coverage is very reasonable and competitive. Glad to have the Best Buy name behind this coverage so will always have a place to go to get help if there is a need.

It is peace of mine to have a 5 year extended warranty. I would recommend it to anyone. In most cases if you use it one time it more than pays for itself.

Buy the warranty to be assured of 5 years of worry free use. If you don't, you just might regret it. Reliability on everything is hit and miss these days

My wife bought the Geek Squad protection previously and I thought it was a waste of $, but I was totally wrong. We had a smart tv that had an issue that couldn't be repaired, so they replaced it for the full amount we paid for it! Totally worth it.

I always purchase the Geek Squad Protection. I've had issues in the past. Whether it was an appliance or our laptops, Geek Squad had saved the day. Its definitely worth the peace of mind.

Always feel that the quality of the products are not always as good as it should be Having the extra warranty gives a sense of security if anything goes wrong

The gentleman at the Geek Squad counter was very helpful with giving me ideas on what could be wrong with my tablet. Although he was unable to fix the problem, he did his best at trying to help and gave me advice for when I contacted Samsung.

Always worth the extra money upfront. You never know when something is going to go wrong. Best Buy makes it easy to just swap your item out or get a store credit towards a replacement.
