Have had this geek squad protection for years. Have not had to use them much, thankfully, but when I needed their help on something, they were not only helpful but happy to do so. I am somewhat computer savy in a more than average way for people my age, but nothing special or technical. I just understand the jargon and know what a giga byte is. LOL> That being said,when I can't explain what I don't understand on my computer with a problem I need help with, Geek Squad to the rescue. Very worth having them on board and a lot less expensive than some other computer tech help there. Thankful they are there for me.

Hay, if you are spending less than $50.00 for something, forget the Geek Squad protection plan. However, if you are spending more than $200.00 on any product, the Geek Squad Protection plan can't be beat. They will fix it or replace it at no cost. Truthfully, I was skeptical at first. I took my laptop in and they replaced the cooling fan, no charge, no hassle no problem. Gotta have the Geek Squad, Always.

Needed it as the 4k player I bought it for failed twice in the first year. Best buy applied the full price of the unit to a different model and that model works great. Would buy it again.

Thank goodness for this, hopefully I won’t need to use it.

I love my TV and I always get the helped needed promptly when I am needing to get my TV working again.

With kids and high use, we feel good about having the extra protection.

There’s very little reason as to why you wouldn’t have protection for expensive electronics. Yes, it’s imperative to do research on the reliability of products. But every now and then, you will have a faulty product. It’s life, it happens. That’s why it’s crucial to have insurance on these products for a reasonable price.

Well, the service contracts that I have bought have worked by warding off the electronic evil spirits...I've bought this but cannot comment on the service that it actually represents because I've not used it. But, I'm glad I've had it.

When choosing a squad of technicians to hire to stand by on-call I always look for ones who drive cars equipped with emergency beacons. This is something that you'll want to have simply because they have stores (and geeks) all over tarnation. You don't have to mail anything off, just head to town if something glitches . Mostly I just got the additional warranty because I wanted the peace of mind in case I got one of the items that will inevitably break down after the regular warranty period.

I have used this warranty in the past for other devices. The customer service has been excellent. For my other devices on geek squad protection Best Buy honored the warranty and refunded me the price of the electronic product. So I would recommend this protection to anyone who needs extra peace of mind.

Happy that I purchased he Geek Squad, now a days you can never tell when your appliances will go hey wire and it's always a good to have peace of mind knowing that paying for the extended service will help you if you ever need it. I make it a habit to get the Geek Protection for all my purchases at Best Buy, so far it has been one of the best decisions I have made along with the great purchases I have also made. There is no where else to go for service like Best Buy or selection for what you are looking for.

All good so far as I haven't had to use the extended protection at this point. I will say though that in the distant past (back when a 65in Pioneer Plasma TV cost between $9,000 -10,000) they allowed an extension of the original extended warranty and honored their coverage in about year 8 of warranty replacing that TV with an equivalent unit (now Panasonic) which is still in use today some 14 years from the original purchase and still a great TV especially for sports, action and 3D movies.

The Greek geek squad was absolutely excellent in every way possible not only did they come into the house fully following protocol for Cove 19 they also did some extra things for me like sound setting up sound bars in a different room checking my Wi-Fi and programming all the remotes to all my TVs not just the one I bought. I would highly recommend the geek squad and geeks one protection for any item that you buy there’s over $100

Worth the investment! They have saved my bacon since we have begun working from home due to Covid. They are careful and provide solutions quickly. They have: upgraded our router quickly and efficiently upgraded our home theater effectively and patiently answered support questions regarding laptop purchase and monitor

Like insurance, it may at first seem to be pricy, however, it is SO VERY worth while if and when you have problems. All of the benefits that it offers are great. I saved a bundle with it when I had my computer crashed. They did a great job in explaining the problem, repair options, and doing the final software updates after the work was done. There was no pressure or rush with any of the processes. It gives me peace of mind having it, for any future problems.
