Its great to get warranty to cover and they are great to have for a safety belt i have used my and they exchanged my as soon as i told them

I get so much peace of mind knowing that when something goes wrong on my computer I have someone to contact immediately. When I call I always get someone who can help even without me having to go into the store. Even if it's just helping me open up more storage space and clean up old files, I feel so much better.

Get the protection! My microwave tapped out after less than two years of usage. But since I had the geek squad protection on it I was able to just exchange it for a new microwave and keep it moving.

I purchased an LG microwave on July 11, 2023, with a 4-year protection plan. On Aug 25, 2025, it had an opening issue, and the door jammed. Geek Squad agent, without even looking at it, flatly said Yes, it's covered, but we will have to ship it, and it could take 2 months or more to get it all fixed. So they basically wanted me to wait for 2 plus months, and the microwave is one of those appliances I use every day. After this terrible experience, I would recommend not purchasing the Geek Squad warranty. While purchasing this microwave, they were pushing the warranty on me and said no matter what happens, it's covered, Best Buy will try to fix it, if not, I`ll be provided with the new one or the option to buy another model if that particular model wasn`t available. Look elsewhere or make sure you get everything in writing. Two months to fix a jammed microwave door? That`s really unheard of.

The last microwave we bought lasted only a year, so we got the warranty with the new one we bought.

For the price definitely worth it for peace of mind!

Strictly depending on the price, I recommend Best Buy's standard 2 or 4 year Geek Squad protection. If your item fails, you just take it back to the store and get a new one. No boxing or shipping involved!

I buy this service every time I purchase a new laptop. This is invaluable. Trust me. It's so worth it to buy this up front than to get stuck paying a ton after something happens. I've been buying GS protection plans for over a decade and have never regretted it.

I purchase a lot of devices that I can be tough on. It good to know that I have a back up to take care of any problem I have, I liked it so much that I bought an additional plan for my mothers house as well. She very happy about having her devices covered as well.

I really like this toaster, but I find that it works best when set on number 2. Anything higher than 2 with my particular toaster left me with burnt edges on my toast. Other than that it's a pretty nice toaster.

Purchased this for my Garmin watch. The watch started malfunctioning about three years into the protection plan, they replaced the full value, no hassles. Boom!, that quick they had it resolved in about 4 minutes. Great plan, no hassles.

As the last few microwave ovens I've purchased have been hit or miss, I purchased this four year protection plan. I have had good results with these protection plans from best buy over the years. I hope to not need to use it but with appliances these days we can never tell how long they may last.
