    Geek squad, more like scam squad.

    They sell you a huge amount of support but later on when we actually needed the repairs, they really drop the ball, on purpose it seems. First you realize their “__” years warranty is counting the first year, but they don’t actually warranty the device. They leave it up to the original manufacturer warranty. So that was deception to me, borderline fraud. Why tell me we bought 4 year warranty then defer the entire first year to the manufacturer. That’s a 3 year warranty you are offering, I already paid for that first year. So deceptive! Good gracious. Gimmick gimmicky goo. Then, told me policies changed and things are different now, so I have to wait 2 weeks for repairs. Then it’s still broke. Then they offer store credit less, but no refund on the tax and less the cost of the warranty. And no store credit for 30 days, so have to go without the appliance for a month. So get ready to eat about 30% of your investment on their changed policies.(we are eating over $160 on this warranty bamboozle) So watch them on their fine print. BB has become quite the gimmick in the last two years. Their warranty is worst in the market imo. Other box stores don’t gimmick you for about the same cost, and offer more perks. This warranty and their gimmicky “free install” has sent me back to other box store for all future appliance purchases.

    I got the Geek Squad Protection on my new Sony A8H 65" TV and haven't had to use it yet. I saved over $600 on the TV with guaranteed price match so used it to get the GSP. I hope I never need it but my son had it on his TV and when he needed Geek Squad, they solved the problem.

    Gig squad service is absolutely worth every penny. They are simply superior and very invested in making customer. Happy if a product is faulty or fails.

    I recommend for every customer to get a protection for any products you buy at least to cover for the 2yr. We had recently bought a appliance and it started messing up. Luckily we had bought a protection & called them up. The Geek squad came fixed up our appliance with no problem.

    Does not get very hot. Hard to operate. Inside burned while making popcorn as instructed. Super cute but not practical.

    I almost always get the geek squad protection. So far if we've had issues they'd been no problems getting things fixed or replaced which is why we are repeat costumers!

    Purchased to protect our investment in a new microwave. Hoping we don't need it but from prior experience with other appliance, pays for itself in ease of use, customer service and coverage the first time you have an issue with an appliance. Geek squad coverage is the best we've used.

    Hopefully we won’t have to use the warranty but from previous times I’ve had to buy a Geek Squad warranty I know they cover pretty much everything.

    I compared the value of Geek Squad vs. the protection offered by the manufacturer for extended warranty. The cost is much cheaper - and unlike the manufacturer warranty where I recently had to deal with multiple calls, scanning and uploading of receipts, etc., this is a much better deal.

    We always buy the Geek Squad protection. It's inexpensive and comes in handy. So far, we've only had to use it once for a microwave that went south after 1.5 years, and we got a brand new microwave for turning it in on the extended warranty. So we're sold on the protection plan. A!
