If I could give zero stars, I would. This was by far the worst customer service experience I’ve had. They were completely unwilling to accommodate and consistently deflected instead of offering any real explanation. When I asked where their policy states that a GE countertop microwave qualifies as a small appliance, they couldn’t provide an answer. Meanwhile, GE’s own website clarifies that these microwaves are not considered small appliances. Which makes sense since they weigh nearly 50 pounds. Rather than addressing the issue, the representative (Edwin) simply dismissed my concerns by saying I was “frustrated” and hanging up on me. I do not recommend Best Buy or Geek Squad to anyone.

I tend the purchase a protection for anything that has a screen, speaker, or has the degree of likelihood to be dropped or fall over

Appropriate price for a 2-Year Warranty. Haven't needed to use it yet because the microwave has worked fine.

Always get the protection plan on high end products so I'm cover. They have not failed me yet!

In addition to the manufacturers warranty it definitely makes sense to get the geek squad protection just in case because you never know what may happen.

Geek squad is good to have it the guys are always very helpful and they cover your warranty Without any issues

Best buy is about the only alce I buy protection plans with my purchases. They honor them with no questions asked.

This is a plus to have and gives you a peace of mind after a purchase that if something happens it is covered.
