    They said it might take them 2 or more months to fix my microwave's jammed door without even inspecting it. I had my bathroom remodelled in a week. Be careful when purchasing their warranties; it's all a happy experience until you have to bring it back for a repair. They expect me to wait two months without a microwave. I have a hectic life, so no time to cook. The only reason I purchased the microwave for.

    Very Dissappointing Experience

    I ordered the LG 2.0 microwave and it was delivered to my home by UPS. When I opened the box at the top right side was a dent. I did not even take it out the box. I notified Best Buy of the damage and was told to return it to the the store or a UPS Store. I am an older person and had no way of getting this done so they did agree for an one time only they would have UPS pick it up and the second was re-ordered. When they picked up the first one they delivered the second one. The second was not as damaged as the first but had a slight indention at the top right corner and I decided I would keep it after all had gone through with the first one. I called Best Buy today to let them know of the situation and was told they would only give me a $10 credit. I think it should have been at least $20 being I was willing to keep it. I do not like their customer service they seem to be very limited on what they can or are willing to do so BEWARE.

    Consider 1 more time before buy

    If you don't have a car or if you are not close to their store, don't bother to buy. You have to bring your small appliances to their location. If you live in a city and don't have a car, that is not an easy thing. If you work lot of hours and on a tight schedule, that is not an easy thing to do. If your item is under $100, that may not worth your time and hassle. If the item is essential and you need to use it everyday, don't bother. The repair could take up to a week or more. I was not told these logistics how this will work, and paid almost 50% of the item price. I hope others will do a little more research and make the informed decision.

    Pathetic customer care and support

    It’s such a pain to deal with geek squad ; they were supposed to come and fix it and an hour before the appointment time they said the store can give a replacement and I need to go to store ; The next day - I’m in store to get the replacement and they wanted the old unit ; looks like the store manager (Lewisville BestBuy) don’t have a clue on how this works ; I had to go back home to get the old unit : upon on my return now they that say, no replacement but they will fix it but no time line - does this sound like good customer care; I need a microwave with three year old at home ; jeez !!!

    After 1 year and 2 Months no longer works

    Unfortunately, after 1 year and 2 months it no longer works. It was nice while it lasted and warmed up food quickly. Too bad the manufacturer warranty is only 1 year, 2 months later it stopped working.

    Poor quality, misleading warranty disclaimer

    This is the 2nd time I've purchased this microwave - not because I like it - the first one quit after ~3 years - but because I paid $250+ for a matching trim kit which is worth as much as the microwave itself. The magnetron quit working in my first one. LG support said it would be covered by the warranty, but I would have to pay for the labor which would be $200+. Then the service tech would have to file a warranty claim and order the part which would take some time to get in. What a pain. So I just bought new one, although I'm not happy about it. Recommend looking for a different brand - super disappointed in LG appliances (had bad luck with my LG washing machine as well).

    bought this second one to replace the first same one that lasted only 13 mos.1 month out of warranty! this second one lasted 9 months and it is very hard to find service center near colorado city,tx. i will never buy panasonic or shop Bestbuy again!!!

    Umm, these reviews are SUPPOSED to be for a microwave so why are they for everything but a microwave, much less THIS microwave. Get it together, Best Buy.

    I liked the microwave while it worked, which was about 8 months. I purchased the geek squad 4 year extended warranty as well, which I now consider a waste of money. Now Best Buy has the microwave to see if it is repairable and I don't have a microwave oven to use in the process.

    Scott at store 246 was terribly rude and refused to offer any assistance to all the customers waiting in line. All he would say is that the the one agent at the counter will help us when he was available.
