Best buy approved time and time again that it will always take care of you Even if you don't really have the plan but the plan assures me things will be taken care of...

I purchased it for a granddaughter who I purchased an air conditioner for. havent used it to know if there would be any hassles as the AC has been working fine so far a year later

I haven't had to use geek squad protection to replace anything so i cant say if its good or bad. Thats why i put 3 stars.

The agent helped my son with questions and solutions how to install something he needed on his computer. My son said he learned a lot from just watching how the agent did things and asking questions to make sure of how things worked. I wasn’t in room to ask as this was for my son to do for his computer but the agent did tell me how things were and he was very informative and helpful. He did not take very long in fixing the issues my son had and explained to him what to do or look for. Thank you all.

Because of the weight, I had help with setting this up. But, once in the window, it works really well. I have an apartment with an odd floor plan, about 520 sq ft. It's cooling it all - using the ceiling fans in the kitchen and my bedroom to help circulate air. The features are great and easy to use - air clean is great this time of year with allergies! Remote temperature sensor is another one I didn't know came with it, but what a gem! I take the remote with me into the bedroom and the air conditioner responds to that room's temp, not just the living room it's in! I highly recommend this air conditioner. Mine is the 10,000 btu unit because of the square footage and floor plan of my place.

This service is a must for expensive products. Always good to include it on something of high value.

Geek Squad protection is a good value for most Best Buy purchases

Great Dehumidifier it has worked wonders in my large basement space. I am glad I went with the 70pt. Had a Frigidaire Large Room Dehumidifier 50 Pint that stopped working after 2 years with an EC code and received no help from their Customer Service. Hoping Honeywell will stand up longer

This product is amazing for the price. It blows ice cold, and the air sweep feature automatically moves the fan direction blades back and forth for even distribution of air.

I generally don’t buy extended warrantees, EXCEPT on dehumidifiers. From name brands you know to store brands, I’ve had about half a dozen fail in the 3–5-year range. The BB extended warrantees have made replacements a dream.

The customer service is wonderful at Best buy and the Geek squad warranty is awesome,they totally stand behind the warranty with excellent service

I like this air conditioner but not love it. After I had it for about 1 year. It leaked so much. I had it on top of a box and then had to put a bucket on the floor to collect all the water. Then it stopped leaking for a bit. Then it started to leak again. Another thing is the hose it comes with is too short. I placed it on top of a box so it can reach the window. Too short of a hose to be placed on the floor. Glad I purchased the warranty!!!

The installers were not very impressive. Years ago, I had Best Buy install an expensive TV and stereo. One of the stereo components did not work and they refused to go to a nearby Best Buy and exchange it. They said I would have to schedule another installation. I was very busy and when I called to reschedule they said I waited too long and they refused any exchange or refund.

I got this AC in july 9 of 2022 and by May 2024 it's not working like I first got it have it set to 64 and my Bedroom doesn't got below 72 degrees how does that happen

I purchased my air conditioner on April 12 of 2023. The unit had a 1 year warranty. I also purchased the Geek Squad 2 year extended warranty which says they cover your product AFTER the manufacture warranty. Now i come home today and my ac has stopped working i called to get it warrantied and am told i no longer have a warranty that it expired in April of 2025. I informed them they were wrong then they tell me the first year of my extended warranty runs concurrent with the manufacture warranty. So now they are refusing to honor what is written on their website. I have taken screen shots of what is on there and will be reaching out to an attorney to get this fixed since this is a deceptive practice.
