Inside the AC box I bought there's already a 2years warranty for half of the get squad's insurance...it wasn't mentioned when I bought the AC...always ask them just to make sure if he item u purchasing offers they're own insurance.

Smart feature quit after 2 weeks. GE is unresponsive for help. Unit cools well and purchased the geek squad extended warranty. Will not buy another appliance without an extended warranty.

Absolutely horrible service. Geek squad protection was a waste of time. My air conditioner is not working during a heat wave and instead of fixing it, they want me to drop it off, send it out for service, and then get it back…. In three weeks! Mind you, when we got the protection plan this was not relayed and when i made the service appointment, this was not told to me. Ill never get an appliance or protection plan with best buy again!

Hope I never have to use it. But if I do at least I have this and no worries about where to find another window a/c unit.
