This dehumidifier removes moisture like a champ, but I simply cannot get the thing to drain to the hose. It's new (or so I assume--the packaging was pretty beat up), so not a cleaning issue. I have followed all instructions as to settings (Cont.) and how to position the hose (no kinks, no bends, no uphill travel). Still, it drains to the bucket, which I then have to lug to the bathroom, making a mess and invariably getting water all over the floor. I'd recommend going with a different brand or a model that is more user-friendly. This one is so far a disappointment.

Paid $65 for a 4 year plan on a GE dehumidifier. Dehumidifier stopped working after 1 year. Best but could not repair so they gave me an exchange but still charged me this difference of the new model. GE would have done this for nothing. They also said the 4 year plan dies not continue to the new unit. This is not a 4 year plan! I now have a dehumidifier that is not covered although I paid for the plan. Don't fall for the lies.
