Haven't needed to use for my TV, but have had it for other items where I did and process was surprisingly easy. I always buy Best Buy's extended warranty on larger items for piece of mind.

Any repair is costly and returns for failed equipment can be painful. I purchased the longest amount of time (5 yr) because it is just good insurance. I only wish it covered accidental failure, like you can get on other types of equipment.

Always good to have a professional place to turn when help is needed. Have not had an occasion to use it yet but the confidence of knowing they are there is comforting.
