A friend had a problem with their new TV and even though it was under warranty for one year, they had to do much of the work of disassembling and rebooking things back up. With the Best Buy plan we will not have todo anything ourselves . Two years was only $60.

The Geek Squad provides services in-store, on-site, and over the Internet via remote access, and also provides 24-hour telephone and emergency on-site support. Geek Squad no longer works solely on computer-related devices. It now diagnoses issues in and repairs all consumer electronics, as well as appliances.

I purchased a plasma TV several years ago and it stopped working a couple months before the warranty ended. The plan ordered a new part and fixed my 5 year old TV making it essentially brand new. The one downside was it took about 2 months for them to get the part for the TV.

I have gotten this before on previous TV's & it was very handy when one of them lost video rather early in it's usage. They were unable to repair it so I received a new TV in replacement.

Geek Squad always on our list if we purchasing anything from Best Buy store. We can't leave store without it. So make sure to buy them if you're going to purchase something expensive from the store

Always worth the extra protection with electronics these days.

The 1st agent installed and setup tv and did a thorough job of explaining to me how things work. 2d set of agents mounted tv and installed soundbar. Wish they would have left the manual on how to operate it.

I will never purchase an item without this service. It has helped in many ways and the customer service is the best. Well worth the extra money.

Free in home service for tvs that are over 45 inches. Granted manufacturers like samsung do the same thing but only for the one year that they offer their warranty for and they do not cover electric surge damage. no brainer when you are spending so much money on a television

Geek Squad is extremely clutch. Absolutely worth the money. I have used them multiple times, and they never fail.

Excellent "Peace-of-Mind" protection in case my TV fails in the future. I have used the protection plan many times in the past on other purchases and have not had any problems with Best Buy honoring the plan.

Haven't had to use geek squad protection as yet. I hung my own tv did my own connections and un boxing. They did offer to do these things. This is what I do for a living so I didn't need that done. I guess it's great a Haven't needed them for warranty purposes as yet.

I usually don't purchase a protection plan. I was surred that they would come to my house if there was a problem so it was worth. I haven't used it and hope I won't have to but it gives peace of mind.

I purchase geek squad protection on just about all my products that it's available for. The peace of mind and great customer service I receive from Best Buy is worth every penny for these protection plans.

I have not used the extended warranty but did plenty of research and wether should buy or not and I pulled the trigger. Everything I’ve read says Best Buy has the best warranty you can buy.

the geek squad agents did a super job on setting up 65 inch tv. they explained how to set up the apps. I am very satisfied. Ron V
