    Best Buy and Geek Squad have ALWAYS given me the best of care and service when it comes to their Protection Plans. Any time I have every had an issue with an item that was under warranty they quickly took action to fix my issue, whether it was to repair the item back to fully working condition or replacing the item promptly if it could not be fixed. Best Buy has always handled the situation to my fullest satisfaction. That is why I tell anyone who asks, my first choice will always be to get my electronics from Best Buy because of their Protection Plan!!!

    I ALWAYS buy warranties for my purchases. When my T.V. , I bought at BEST BUY , suddenly broke down , I called them, and an Agent from the GEEK SQUAD came to my home, diagnosed the problem AND told me I was TOTALLY covered!! He helped me understand the warranty and I was able to get a NEW T.V. to replace the defective one. Then of course I got another 5 year standard GEEK SQUAD Waranty!! I'd give 10 Stars if I could!! The agent was Polite Professional and Knowledgeable!! I highly recommend getting Warranties and using the GEEK SQUAD!! Thank You BEST BUY and The GEEK SQUAD!!

    Extended warranty

    I mounted my TV to a TV stand mount. I purchased the 2 year extended warranty with it. The one thing I didn't know is when you do purchase the extended warranty it runs side by side with the manufacturer warranty which I didn't know it did it that way. I thought it started after the manufacturer warranty ended but it doesn't. So he sure to ask questions about that.

    It is always good to get this on more expensive items, look a TV, but not sure it is as essential for under $100 items.

    This is by far one of the best warranties we have ever purchased. It's even better than a home warranty product! It covers just about any electronics which you may own, they come on time when you schedule an appointment, fix what needs to be fixed, and cart away any electronics you no longer need, or want. one of the BEST BUYS ever!!!

    It is a good plan to help one feel worry free. I just hope it would not overlap with the first year manufacturer's warranty so that there will be more years to be covered in total with less cost. Here is what I read online: "You should also check whether the coverage of the service contract overlaps with the problems and time periods the manufacturer’s warranty covers to avoid paying for unneeded coverage. You may find that any additional coverage is not worth the additional cost." I understand the coverage is different, but what I really need is a longer time manufacturer’s warranty with less cost (Accident coverage is not so important for me. I always use my furniture and electronic devices very gently and carefully).

    Absolutely worth it, and comes with alot of nice perks. For example, if you are buying a television 55 inches or larger, a Geek Squad member will be able to visit your house to process the warrant claim. That's huge, because carrying around large used televisions, in which you probably won't have the box, can be a big hassle. Very comprehensive coverage, especially for OLED televisions.

    like the title says it is definitely worth getting five year protection plan, anything goes wrong with your product they will have geek squad come out to your house figured the conditions of the damage product attempt to fix the damage product and the third time after they come out they decide they cannot fix it they will replace with a new product or write you a check for the amount you spent for product . I feel this plan was made for the customer not for the company, the customer no matter what the outcome will benefit from this five-year plan.

    hopefully i never have to use the warranty. Bought it for LG OLED CX 55" TV. My first OLED, B6P 55" had burn in right before 3 years. Amazon's crappy warranty would not do anything about it. LG ended up replacing the panel for free under the 3 year manufacture warranty. the CX model is 4 years newer and has better burn in retention prevention. If it burns in before 5 years, the warranty should cover fixing or replacement of the tv.

    So I've had this since 2021 now. Absolutely NO issues at all. I liked it so much that I sent one to my brother in Texas! It has EVERYTHING you need in a coffee maker: hot water dispenser, frother, pod ability, filter for ground beans ability and most importantly, my 81 year old technology challenged mother can use it with ease!

    Just purchased a new Sony 75'' tv and the 2 yr extended Geek Squad warranty. Brought it home myself. They wanted 200.00 buck's to deliver and set it up. I got a friend to help with unboxing and set up. " It takes two people to unbox and set up this big tv. " Out of the box the new Sony TV has a bad Pixel. Red dot with a line all the way across the screen. First, I was asked to bring it back in for exchange myself? Of course I said no, I purchased the "Geek Squad Warranty ". They told me if I had any issues they'd come to my house and fix it.! Long story short. Even though I purchased the " Geek Squad Warranty " where they said they would come out and fix my tv at my house for no charge,... they said because it's still covered by the manufactures warranty they would have to send it back to the manufacturer for repairs! Could take weeks. They will exchange it and deliver me a new tv at no charge and set it inside my house and pick up the old new tv but that's it. I will be responsible for unboxing and setting up the new tv again myself and disposing of the big box and all of the packaging. Also, today is the 4th of July 2024, my appointment for receiving my replacement TV is 7/17/24, 13 day's from now and the the so called NARROW appointment window on the 17th is 7 am to 7 pm.!! Really?? Lol. I need to be available for 12 hours? Is the best we can do? I'm glad I have the warranty or I'd have to box this thing back up and return it myself but I'm disappointed that I got a defective tv, that's on Sony. I paid big buck's for what I expected to be a top Quality product! I'm also disappointed that Best Buy won't just come out and fix this TV, that's why I paid for the warranty! So I wouldn't have to go through all of this hassle with returns, exchanges etc.

    Great service to get had it with my phone allows u to keep the value under the warranty to atleast replace or get a newer item to use for just one payment worth using and keeping track of. Especially for my tv that have a hard time with constant gaming and family movie watching

    This is one of the best investments I've ever made! I ended up using the Geek Squad for ALL of my electrical items purchased at Best Buy or not! The protection is soooo applicable to so many scenarios of needs by a common user of laptops, cell phones, copiers and tablets! The services (in person or on the phone), the automatic extended warranties and free deliveries have more than paid for my service protection twice over! Each "geek" has been stellar in their knowledge and friendly in their service!
