I bought an open box Samsung Q90 tv that was only missing the standard tabletop mount. When it was received at my home I found a decent scratch where the tv was bubble wrapped and undoubtedly was rubbed by a pallet jack during transportation and the delivery team didn’t bring the correct One Connect box with it. After a quick trip to the store to determine that the Correct One Connect box wasn’t there and a quick 15 minute phone call later to the Geek Squad, I had a brand new TV scheduled for delivery to my home, no questions asked. It was well worth the extra money to protect the investment.

Geek Squad Protection is a must for OLED TVs. I purchased the 5-year plan for a great price. I feel at ease knowing I’ll have Geek Squad coverage for the next 5 years in case anything goes wrong with my TV.

I had an issue with a defective product and after a lengthy discussion with customer support to prove that is was a product defect and nothing I did, my new product was delivered and installed 2 days later with the defective one hauled away. Had the customer service end of things been smoother, my rating would be higher, but overall i was glad I bought the protection and was very happy with how everything was handled once my claim was approved.

This TV was exactly what I was looking for and for an amazing price. The picture and sound quality are both amazing and I am a fan of the Home Screen interface. The Samsung channels built in are great it seems they combine the channels from various free streaming TV platforms. This was a great buy and highly recommend.

Landon was super helpful in my research for a tv upgrade. I was specifically interested in the 4K tvs' with 120hz refresh rate for under $600. This Vizio was on sale & $30 less than what Wal-Mart priced for& I got the geek-squad protection since I got a baby on the way & there may be possibility of breakage in the first few years. But with that protection, all I have to do is bring it to the store to resolve my problem rather than shipping it to a repair center & waiting weeks..Plus this option was the best deal Landon was able to find & I was able to physically preview before buying. I always buy this protection and I swear it never fails me. if I need any assistance or need my device replaced for any reason geek squad is always there for me. I like how Best Buy gives you the option to buy the protection at a discounted price yea its ONLY for that particular device but its so worth it! if you don't purchase the geek squad protection with any purchase (that's eligible) from Best Buy then your going to be coming out of pocket for repairs and possibly a new item and it will end up being a pretty penny!

You can never go wrong with extra protection. Especially when it comes with zero parts or labor charges. And you can go into any Best Buy to make a claim.

Havent needed this for anything i own but im definitely glad i have them as potential help for when and if s problem arises. Either way i have used them for non purchased items and they always do great work. Id definitely use them for electronics in the future anytime

I buy Geek squad coverage with everything I buy from Bestbuy that costs more than two hundred bucks! I've actually only had to use the geek squad service once, but it paid for itself that one time for every time I've bought it! A laptop I bought my wife for school died during finals for her master's program and they ended up giving me a new laptop and they were able to backup all of her files and they were very fast with everything, so long story short; if you buy a major appliance or expensive piece of electronics from Bestbuy spend the extra money for the Geek squad service!
