Love the geek squad- wish they had more resources and better customer service infrastructure

Peace of Mind costs. My current TV had a power surge that fried the TV. My warranty had expired ( 6 year old TV). Having the warranty gives me peace of mind that within the next 3 years I have coverage for any replacement issues.

The 2-year Geek Squad protection plan is worth it for major purchases. It’s affordable and provides excellent support for repairs or replacements. Their customer service is quick and reliable.

I got this protection for my first tv, when it broke and could not be repaired. A $799.99 They gave me my choice of a new tv of the same amount of money. So, when I got my new TV, I took the same Protection on my new tv. A very good deal.

The agent I talked to was very helpful and took care of everything. I was very happy to find I was actually able to get a new replacement TV at no cost. I only had to purchase a new Geek Squad protection plan.

I haven't had to use the GEEK SQUARD yet. I know if and when they will treat like I should be treated

Had an issue with my Samsung sound bar after attempting to trouble shoot it they ended up just giving me store credit and letting me upgrade to a newer version without any issues

All good so far as I haven't had to use the extended protection at this point. I will say though that in the distant past (back when a 65in Pioneer Plasma TV cost between $9,000 -10,000) they allowed an extension of the original extended warranty and honored their coverage in about year 8 of warranty replacing that TV with an equivalent unit (now Panasonic) which is still in use today some 14 years from the original purchase and still a great TV especially for sports, action and 3D movies.

All good so far as I haven't had to use the extended protection at this point.
