    I would never buy a product from Best Buy without their geek squad protection. I had a light blow out on an older tv & they had me with a new tv the same day in store. You can’t beat that kind of customer service.

    Highly recommend signing up for the Geek Squad. Whenever I have tech issues, I can easily contact them and get help over the phone or make an appointment to see someone in person. They really do help you try to resolve computer issues and answers your questions. I also contact Best buy corporate for geek squad help and everyone was so professional and nice.

    WE discovered after unboxing the 75 inch television, that there was an internal flaw....the screen did not show! When I called, the gentleman said a replacement television would be sent out and the flawed one would be picked up....and it was within 3 days!!!

    The fact that the Geek Squad plan covers so much for so long and the cost is so little for what its worth, it would be crazy not to purchase this deal! 5 years > 2 years the payment comparison will tell you all you need to know!

    I've had two Samsung flat screens die at the 4 year mark. I had the 5 year warranty on the, First time it only cost me around $100 for a replacement. This time I switched to Sony and it cost me a couple hundred over the warranty refund. So I purchased the the 5 yr warranty on the Sony.

    Can’t go wrong with the Geek squad!! They not only know about tv’s, computers & laptops but cell phones as well!! 2 thumbs up!!

    It was for a peace of mind I bought the protection plan, but I'm a bit skeptical as to the coverage detail that the sales rep told me that "ANY problems with the TV, I can get an exchange for same model TV or if not available, can get full refund on the TV with credit issued on bestbuy gift card", which does not seem so as I am reading a lot of different reviews about the coverage for this service. I guess I have to be content for the fact that I am definitely covered for repairs (which I am also finding reviews saying that coverage doesn't repair internal screen problems?), but would be nice for the sales person to be better informed or be honest about the coverage, not conning the customers for their own sales quote.

    A Must For Open Box Items

    Honestly the best investment.I buy from Best Buy as opposed to others because of their great service plans and customer service of that plan maintenance. I will try to buy open box on most items, with the warranty it usually pays for the difference while protecting my investment.

    Always get Geek Squad Protection for new installs

    I always add Geek Squad protection for expensive new products like big flat screen TV installed by Best Buy, but don't let anyone else touch the device or they may not honor the protection plan! (Which is why I put 4 stars instead of 5). Found this out with a TV purchased 2 years ago and installed by a handyman, then when there was a problem Best Buy would not take responsibility for it. So new TV installed by Best Buy and will only let them deal with it from now on! For portable items like laptop computers I also love getting Geek Squad protection as then can bring it right into any Best Buy store for problems.

    The Geek Squad agent was very polite and helpful!! He corrected the issue with my Samsung Smart Tv very quickly the agent was very friendly and really was most qualified geek Squad member I have ever had the pleasure of being serviced by this knowledgeable and very professional person

    Got Geek Squad for my LG Air Conditioner because the previous one on wheels broke after 2 years. Warranties like this are necessary with AC's that breakdown after a short time
