    I highly recommend adding Geek Squad when buying from Best Buy. They set everything up quickly, answered all my questions, and made sure everything worked perfectly. Super friendly and professional—well worth it for the extra support and protection!

    I had some issues with my television, due to an update on when updating the software. Finally, after some time the manufacturer sent out a tech to remove some hardware on my tv and replace it. My warranty did not start till within a year from the purchased date. And that is ok, my television is still on and taken care of either way... It just took a couple of days like 30-45 days due to scheduling and procedures with the manufacturer. However, it saved me a couple hundred dollars...

    I had my tv go out and was upgraded to a larger tv. Very happy with how easy it was to complete the switch. Very helpful when I called.

    Purchased two TV's and made sure to add the 5 year warranty on both. Not a bad price for both.

    I bought a LG Oled TV. Best Buy extended warranty is the only one that covers burn in.

    I worked for geek squad for 6 years. Believe me when I say a 5 year on an OLED is worth it. I’ve seen cases where no warranty was bought, and it’s sad. For any OLED tv it’s a must as only Best Buy offers this! Other line Square trade will not cover burn in, and will give you a hard time about everything to deny a claim. As a former Geeksquad employee we always put the client first and gave excellent service. Just note: for TVs this doesn’t cover personally neglect like breaking it. So keep it away from pets and children if worried. Otherwise all surges, burn ins, components are covered via replacement. Or give card to put towards a new purchase. On LCD with VA, IPS panel can’t say really as the biggest worry is a backlight out, and most CC will double your MFW if needed.

    This is the perfect tv for a small bedroom, the image is great, colors pop, very bright display. Easy to setup and light enough to mount up with no real issues. Best buy made this pickup a breeze. For the prize even including warranty, 10/10.

    my tv is broken. I got right through to someone and got an appointment. very easy and I didnt have to do much. hope the repair or replace is this seamless.

    So far haven't needed any assistance other than what I got from the sales rep. who was very knowledgeable and helpful. Feel better about a TV with extension to the typical warranty.

    Having a five year warranty on any electronics these days is a very smart decision. It’s well worth the money because of the product has issues before five years is up. It’s gonna cost you a lot more money to fix it. I would highly recommend getting the five year warranty it has worked well for us.

    Defective TV, Geek protection won't honor

    Geek Squad protection is FOUL...!!!! I was told that the protection plan would start after the manufacturers warranty ended. Samsung gives a Minimum of 1 year manufacturer warranty. So I purchase the 2 year Geek Squad protection for approximately $250.00. in July 31, 2020. Samsungs warranty ended July 31, 2021....therefor, by what I was told by the Best Buy sale person, my Geek Squad protection should start July 31, 2021 and end July 31, 2023. When I called best buy to claim my protection...because the TV has a defect with pixels going dead....lots of pixels, so the best buy rep told me the plan expired ...GET THIS....BECAUSE THE GEEK SQUAD PROTECTION STARTED THE SAME TIME SAMSUNGS WARRANTY STARTS. WHAT SINCE DOES THAT MAKE TO HAVE A PLAN GOING WHILE IT'S STILL UNDER WARRANTY. AS I WAS TOLD WHEN PURCHASING THE TV THAT IT WOULD START AFTER THE MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY ENDS. BEST BUY THAT'S NOT RIGHT..... AND THEY KNOW IT'S NOT RIGHT...and gave me the option to PAY $130 more dollars to have a diagnostic test of the TV.

    expensive for the item bought, I dont know why they want me to write at least 5o words, when 5 did it, so I had to write this extra meaninless information to meet their quota!

    Havnt had to use it but if I need them it’s there and worth every penny have alot of new devices and spent alot of $$$$ so got the best squid in the game backing me the GEEKs!!!
