The process was worth it to protect my smart TV and the agents from the store helped me through it

We haven't used this service yet, we'd like to have them set up our Direct TV to come through our TV remote, but don't want to spend $99 to have them come out. I feel like we really didn't really need this service.

Great dynamic picture and seamless clear crisp sound

I get this on everything I buy over $100 due to I've had plenty of things die on me prematurely, after the manufacturer warrantee.

I would highly recommend the 5-year standard Geek Squad Protection plan for anyone looking to safeguard their valuable electronics. The comprehensive coverage and expert support make it a worthwhile investment.

This TV has the best picture of any tv I've ever owned. Even the sound is great. My only draw back would be the game mode. While it has to be in game mode for some fast moving games for the timing to work the picture doesnt look nearly as good. Only use game mode if the controls feel sluggish and it will corret them. Otherwise use the best picture you can and your game will never look better.

When my Sony TV's screen failed, I was relieved to remember that I had purchased Geek Squad protection. Frankly, I was expecting the service process to be a hassle, but it only took a couple of phone calls and my replacement TV (a newer version of the same TV) was on it's way. If you're looking at a major purchase, I'd definitely recommend purchasing a Geek Squad protection plan.

5 year service plan awesome price $249 and glad I haven't had to use it

In the past when I purchased my Samsung tv, my old one I just replaced, I purchased the extended warranty for that one. When it developed lines on the picture, within a day someone came out. checked the tv and was not fixable, I was given a number to call and a replacement arrived a few days later. Given the price for the extended warranty and the final outcome, it was well worth it. I purchased the extended warranty again for this tv, for "just in case". It is a decision I feel that is best for me.

Covers all of my systems and devices %100 would recommend!

After doing research on televisions we purchased a LG 55 inch. Brought it back the next day, no hassle return too, because it was just too big for our small living room and the sound was not great either. We exchanged it for a 48 inch Sony Bravia TV. That was the best move we could have made. The picture is crisp, the sound is incredible from the built in speakers, much better than the LG, and it is a SMART TV also. Price was right too. I have to say also that the salesman who helped us was tremendous. Very knowledgeable and courteous. It's nice when you can get answers to questions you don't know to ask. We have never been fans of Best Buy, but I believe this whole experience turned us around. They really know their stuff. Thank You.....

It's the best protection plan I've bought. They came in and did a same-day repair on my TV and it was up and running. When it started having issues again and eventually died on me, Best Buy set me up with a new model of the same TV! Came the next day and dropped it off along with recycling the old TV for me. Gave me piece of mind and save me a lot of money.

Geek squad installed & explained all features very clearly to us. Connected tv to other devices &took my old tv& disposed it. Very friendly, & helpful crew.

Great value for just straight tv watching. Closed caption is big enough to easily to read. Picture quality is good.

I typically don't do extended warranties, But these days, unfortunately, manufacturing quality isn't what it used to be and I didn't want the hassle of dealing with the manufacturer if my Polk S2 sound bar died... and die it did. It was a breeze to walk into the Best Buy store with my soundbar and accessories and get an immediate refund for exchange or upgrade to another system. Definitely worth the extra $24.95 for ease of return and peace of mind. Not too bad for $5.00 a year for 5 years of insurance.

I buy Geek squad coverage with everything I buy from Bestbuy that costs more than two hundred bucks! I've actually only had to use the geek squad service once, but it paid for itself that one time for every time I've bought it! A laptop I bought my wife for school died during finals for her master's program and they ended up giving me a new laptop and they were able to backup all of her files and they were very fast with everything, so long story short; if you buy a major appliance or expensive piece of electronics from Bestbuy spend the extra money for the Geek squad service!
